The second deviation for the TL01 chassis after the Baja Champ. Basically a TL01 touring car chassis with buggysize tires and wheels, originally intended for the Schlesser Megane Buggy, which sadly was never released due to copyright issues. Having already made the molds for the wheels, Tamiya put them to use by combining the TL01 chassis with the Wild Dagger bodyshell. Modelled to resemble the stadium racers and designed for off road use. (Original description entered by acprc)

I have about 4 tamiya kits that I use and by far the most fun has been the TL01 Stadium Raider. Upgraded with Ball Races, a hot tamiya motor and decent shocks has seen this become a real fun toy. It goes like stink and I have turned it over many times and still looks good. No matter how much I thrape it after a good clean it back for more. It may not be in the esoteric range but its FUN!!!!

This was a very easy to assemble kit. Being basically a stock TL-01 on-road touring car chassis I doubt it would stand up to real hard use as a stadium truck. Otherwise though it is a fun kit to assemble and good fun to drive on off-road surfaces. As usual the quality of the parts and fit of everything is great.
