Modern update ala 'SuperHornet'. Simple-to-assemble tub chassis with antiquated 'Grasshopper'-style suspension (solid 'rolling' rear axle) is ideal for beginners. A real parts-bin special... Can you spot which part/s came from which other Tamiya cars?? [by WillyChang]

ok so its a DT01 ! which means it shares the same chassis and running gear as the fighter buggy and madbull (which is a good thing) with a modified bear hawk body fitted
then put on mad bull wheels & tyres and go anywhere
This means its very strong and takes loads of abuse without breaking !!!
parts are cheap and the rear body mounts seem to beimpossible to find (they dont tend to break though)
its a slow buggy as std by all modern terms and the chassis is basic but there are a long list of upgrades available & the first one should be bearings to help reduce friction and increase battery running times after this a sport tuned motor and 19 tooth pinion are a good idea and improve the top end speed alot ............
add cva shocks and you have a good reliable buggy that if you get the early one comes with the clear gearbox coloured gears and clear battrey holders and front body/ suspention mount as std !!!!!!!!!!
and if you get bored with it it only takes a few minutes to change the front uprights and steering rods to those of the mad bull
all in all a very under rated car suitable for beginers upto exspearianced drivers looking for lots of fun
and of course being a DT01 chassis it wont break the very first jump you do or any other jump for that matter LOL
