Having complete control of this baby as she rockets around a circuit or your neighborhood is the ultimate in R/C thrills.
Explosive acceleration, extreme top-speeds and unbeatable running performance all packed into a fully assembled glow engine chassis!
The TNX is Tamiya's new and ultimate ready-to-run nitro monster truck.
Featuring an awesome power-to-weight ratio the TNX is powered by a high-performance 3.0cc FS-18SR engine developed with the collaboration of O.S. engines.
The TGM-03 chassis features a new compact 2-speed transmission designed to ensure consistent shifting and a lightweight double wishbone suspension employing a total of 8 oil dampers for sharp handling and excellent stability.

Technical Information
Ultra tough chassis
The TNX features an ultra tough chassis featuring a duraluminium power train deck, a reinforced resin frame, shaft driven 4WD drive train and heavy-duty double wishbone suspension, all the elements necessary for a long lasting durable chassis ready to take-on all types of terrain.
The total weight is dramatically reduced to put the TNX in the same weight category as most 1/10 monster trucks without sacrificing durability.
Lightweight suspension components reduce unsprung weight for sharp handling and stability.
The TNX features a new forward only transmission with a pin-type 2-speed for solid and consistent shifting.
Ultra strong hardened steel drive shafts and joint cups deliver power to the differentials.
High-powered FS-18SR Engine
Developed in collaboration with O.S. Engines, the R/C engine specialists, the TNX is fitted with a finely tuned high-performance FS-18SR engine loaded with the highest quality glow-engine parts, guaranteeing consistent performance at the highest level.

First Report
Had my car for 3 days now, the running in procedure is straightforward enough to follow using the instructions and takes about half a day to complete using a total of 5 tanks of fuel. There's a bit of tinkering with fuel mixtures but nothing too complicated so it really is as described - ready to run from the box. (Fuel, filler bottle and batteries are also needed) Once you've done this you can then open up the throttle a bit and blimey, does this car shift. Having never driven a nitro car before, I've been nothing less than stunned by its go anywhere ability, fantastic suspension and the sheer fun of driving it. The car is easy to start, controls are straightforward and although there is no reverse, steering at low speeds is good enough to do without it. The tendency to drive this car around your ankles as you do with electric cars is to be avoided though as you suddenly find this monster is hurtling towards you at high speed (Very disconcerting ! ) One final warning - keep pets and small children indoors when this MONSTER TNX comes out to play- lives could be lost!
I doubt that any buyer of one of these will be disappointed as it really is fantastic fun at a reasonable price for a car with this much ability and spares seem easy enough to get hold of via Ebay Stores and others.
