The Leopard is Tamiyas biggest and best (in my opinion) Tank to date, and the price tag is huge too.
The kit comes in a huge heavy box with Tamiyas Usual beautiful artwork on the inside lid.The kit itself is great.It takes a long time to build and you really need some modelling skills to complete it.The longest task is the detailing with all of the etched steel and plastic parts.
Headlight and tail light bulbs of the earlier Sherman and pershing have been replaced by LEDS and fibre optics.

I havent had much time to use mine yet but i have given it a 5 min test run.As luck would have it the Gun barrel stabilization unit arrived just before so i tested it with that in it.It works very well.The tank has 2 power settings for on or off road.It drives beatifully and the turret rotaion is very smooth, thanks to the ball bearing rings it sits on.
I will test it off road when its done and post the results
