Released 24/08/1999 this was the second of the TGX cars Tamiya made for rally car bodies. The Toyota Corolla WRC in 1998 took second in the drivers and manufacturers championship and took the 1999 manufacturers championship. It was the last year Toyota would compete in rallying until the Yaris in 2017. The Corolla kit uses metal risers on the rear body posts and these are the hardest part to now find as they were only used on this one kit.
