Finding myself with £80 in my pocket I could not resist this car. Having seen it advertised by Time Tunnel it seemed to fit the bill for me. A RC rally car that is a good price that can actually go off road! Yes I know it is a stadium raider with a Scooby body and yes the wheel and tyre combo does look odd but boy can it scream along! Having built a TL01 before, the differences were nothing to horrendous - apart from Tamiya's new found love of 'E' clips. Blimey these things can ping off all over the place when you are trying to put them on! I did actually lose a couple and got a load in stock from Modelsport. I have installed a 21t motor, waterproof ESC, ball bearings t/out, 'bagged' RX, anti roll bar and oil shocks. Even more good news for me was the pre painted bodyshell - one less messy task for me to not get quite right! I have driven it in some very 'harsh' conditions, mainly pot holey and wet car parks and through fields. This car is tough and durable. I am now on my second set of tyres after 2 weeks on holiday driving on tarmac (soon shreds the spikes if you are not actually off road!) In conclusion, a challenging enough build with very good stock results. Very good for those of us who grab time with their cars whenever possible and don't have access to perfect track conditions!
