Tamiya announced 58249 to be a kit the latest Pajero. Black/white drawing showed it in a two-tone paint scheme no unlike that of the 58132. Body was supposed to be of lexan. For some reason the kit was never launched and it then appeared as a XB (ready to run) model, 57701.
