Entry-Level Futuristic Buggy.
Originally released in 1987, the Thundershot gained widespread popularity with its futuristic body styling.
Re-released on 29th November 2005 as a limited edition.
Its spaceship-like body is made from tough polycarbonate and features a cockpit housing a driver figure for increased realism.
Easy to assemble shaft-driven 4WD off-road chassis features a mid-mounted motor for optimum balance and a bathtub frame to make installing the R/C mechanisms a breeze.
4-wheel double wishbone suspension features upper I arms and lower H arms for a simple but effective setup.
Front suspension features a unique mono-shock with stabilizer while the rear suspension has two high-performance CVA oil dampers.
Gearboxes are fully enclosed to keep out dirt and debris and features internal diff.gear units for enhanced transmission efficiency.

Some differences between this re-re and the original.
- Lexan body now has an overspray film covering.
- Front and rear wheel hubs are now updated versions (like Terra Scorcher and Fire Dragon).
- Lexan chassis cover/driver is now made from thicker polycarbonate and thus loses a small amount of detail.
- Made in Japan like the original.

Didn't have the first release, but I love the box art.

I love the colors, white with red and blue, just like boomerang, bigwig

Not a great runner, but it really nice to see this running.

The only problem with this chassis type are the lower arms, trying to order from tamiya japan still no stock#.. so decided to get a couple of NIBs for spares. here's what i have done
