I bought two of these and sold one to a friend so we could race identical cars on a track. The car comes with full bearings and a good esc so nothing else had to be bought besides a radio. The decals are precut and a simple one color paint job. Only a few hours for a complete build. The car is quite fast with the stock motor and is perfect for the track I run it on. From a purely performance standpoint this car is much better than the Hornet, Frog or other Tamiya buggies priced in this range, but it lacks any character or charm that makes those cars so great and fun to drive. The handling is very predictable and it jumps quite well but it lacks a slipper clutch so my rear drive cups wore out rather quickly. The durability otherwise is amazing and it can really take a pounding. I don't usually abuse my cars but this car was built for beginer abuse and unlike my Frog and hornet I don't feel bad jumping and crashing it or getting it muddy. This is really a good car for fun and just reliable bashing. The first Tamiya car I have owned that I just drive it like I stole it.
