The 2005 German Touring Car Championship (DTM) saw a total of 4 new generation A4 DTM cars as Audi faced rivals Opel and Mercedes in a quest for a second consecutive victory. Differences in the 2005 Audi A4 are most readily apparent in the single frame front radiator grille and new body shape. Changes are more than skindeep, however, with engineering revisions based on feedback from last year's victorious season. The No.5 Audi, driven by Alan McNish, features lively and eye-catching ABT-Sportsline markings.

Tamiya's TNS Chassis has been designed for those engine users wanting a high performance racing chassis that is ready to run straight out of the box. TNS features a double deck frame for extra durability, with a reinforced aluminum lower and durable plastic upper deck. Powered by a 2.1cc FS-12SW engine, developed in collaboration with O.S. engines, and featuring massive disk brake, the TNS gives you more speed, more reliable running performance and improved control. 4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension with long span arms provide superior road holding, with aluminum capped oil dampers providing excellent shock absorption.
