One of a long line of Tamiya RC models of real-life WRC cars, the 2007 Subaru Impreza WRC in its Monte Carlo livery was presented on the popular TT-01 chassis and came complete with LED lights.
The 2007 iteration of Subaru's Impreza WRC rally car was not that different from the 2006 version. Improvements were mainly under the body, with a new turbocharger and intercooler setup, revised suspension geometry, new differential setting for greater traction and better weight distribution. To complement the new intercooler, the front bumper was revised. These enhancements resulted in a more responsive car, to which drivers Chris Atkinson and Petter Solberg recorded 2007 WRC Round 1 results of 4th and 6th place respectively at Monte Carlo.
