Tamiya's latest addition to the XBG lineup is Subaru Impreza WRC as it appeared at the 2007 Monte Carlo Rally. The car's form has been accurately reproduced in tough polycarbonate, and such details as the square-shaped side mirrors and big rear wing have also been replicated. Of course, the whole body has been expertly painted in the official Subaru Rally Team livery, so all you need is a tank of glow engine fuel and some batteries for the included transmitter and you are ready to roll!
The durable TNS-FD chassis features 2.5mm aluminum lower deck and resin upper deck for optimum structural rigidity. A high-performance 2.1cc FS-12FD engine powers the reliable shaft-driven 4WD system featuring differential-equipped front and rear gearboxes ensures stable high-speed driving. 4-wheel double wishbone suspension with oil dampers at all four corners provide sure-footed handling and a large diameter disc brake allows the car to stop just as quickly as it accelerates. With a full load of fuel in the choke pump-equipped 65cc tank, you can enjoy approximately 5 minutes of exciting driving action.
