I have 20 shelf queens and 3 to become shelf queens. I place them in a self made - very sheap - display cabinet (see my showroom). Away from dust which can destroy a car's appearance in a few years. I've built some rare ones from NIB (Countach, Toyota LB Turbo,...) cause I like to look at the car itself rather than a cartboard box. I know that what I do isn't fantastic for value but I don't care. Touching, investigating and looking at a complete car makes me happy ! greetings Koen

I don't know if it has the most decals , but it covers probably the most surface on a body. If I remeber correctly , about 90% is covered with decals : The Nissan Skyline R32 AXIA version. It took over 12 hours to do it correctly. greetings Koen

When I was young, I believe my favourites were the Datsun and the Tyrrell 6 wheeler. Now that I have almost every top 50 onroad car NB (or at least one representative model of each chassis like F1-metal, F1-FRP,) I must admit that the Lola, together with the Toyota LB Turbo are my favourites. Oh yeah, and the 935 with his awesome looking body, and that sleek 956 and the Golf , and the Williams, . . . . . . . Damned. I like em all !

Miramar. YOU ARE RIGHT ALL THE WAY ! You're head on, on the technical failures. But this week-end I kept up with an 1/8 th scale nitro buggy on our track. I demands a specific driving techique. (no breaking because all the weight is in the back making it very unstable, only full throtlle on the straight (after tuning), ...) Setups to improve handling. After spending over 750 Euros on options it simply does not make it alot better. The new beetle or the Leopard . . . Is even worser than the Marder. The body is too high so it rolls alot and by lengthening the wheelbase they tried to improve traction on the front wheels making it flip over , over it's front wheels ! BUT, you can't compare it with an 1/8th scale screamer or an Losi XXX We drive em against each other and that's where the fun starts. What concerns the price : Here we pay 695 euros for the car (naked) which is acceptable. But this is Belgium, where you pay for the Merc TL-01 239 Euros . . . or 1375 Euros for the latest Kyosho MP7.5 ! Do not look at it at a competition monster but as a plain hobby car. that's what it is built for in my opinion. greetings Koen

Hi , I allready had 4 of them. Now I have the Marder and the Leopard. The Marder has a mODDIEfied engine and the latest SAMBA exhaust . Approx 4,5 HP now. It is hard to stop the car making wheelies. Is it fast . . . . well, I've clocked it at +/- 140 kmph = +/- 85 mph. Offcourse with onroad tyres and other gears on. They are incredibly strong also. If you leave them untuned, the only thing that can break are the front an rear upper arms. (12 Euros a piece) Problems : 1) VERY expensive. The Samba exhaust = NIB TA04 pro + options. So this fun doesn't come for free. 2) Brakes are not fantastic and again , upgraded brakes kost $$$$. Advantage : put onroad tyres on it and it handles like an onroad car They are so diverse you can do everthing you can think of with them. So big Fun, yeah ! with a capital F ! greetings Koen

Hi guys, I'm trying to tune my New built Mini Monte Carlo completely I allready have the low friction damper set and radial tyres. Does anybody know where I can buy the following parts (for a reasonable price) ? 53205 : Universal shaft set 53238 : battery quick release 53239 : stabi's front and rear 53241 : alloy motor heat sink Am I missing any ? And then 2 more questions 1) what motor was typically developed by Tamiya for the M-Chassis 2) Didn't somebody make a carbon chassis set (HPI?) and if so : where is it still available? I recieved in the mean time questions from 5 people to look out for certain auction on Ebay-Germany. You have to look for yourself guys ! I want to help offcourse, but only with words. I ' not going to pay for you in advance and send it further to you (2 x shipping for a normal car = +/- 60->80Euros!) If you find something intersting, I can ask the guy if he wants to send it to a foreign country. Beware also cause in Germany Pauypal is rarely accepted. Further update : His account (old Paypal account) is under limitation. So no more funds can be withdrawn from it . . . . I phoned Paypal today to ask them to simply transfer the money from his to my account again . . . not possible ! for now that is. It seems that my money is now gone from his account but apperently is being used by Paypal . . . I don't understand a word of all this In the hope of sometime finding an answer for my problems I try to keep on[)] nad not to [?] too much. greetings Koen ps: the answers I get from Paypal ressemble the answer from Ebay . . . Can I bring my latest FG 1/6 th scale Marder along for this competition? I've mounted in a tuned engine and Samba exhaust (max rev = 22000rpm !)and clocked it at 135 kmh/85 mph on a cycle oval . . . . . should make a nice long jump with this speed (and probably an expensive one also) just kidding ! still in doubt wether to come or not . . .

A small update. I believe that he is expierencing some havy problems. He's still busy settling money problems with +400 different people. Problem is that he did sent allready many packages and people that allready recieved theirs get their money refunded but don't deposit it on his new account . When I asked to send my package allready he tells me that he even doesn't have money to do that ! Although he still has my 305 us$ . . . He promised me my money by tomorrow . . . as he allready did about 4 times now . . . In the mean time, I'll try keep on [)] Koen

There is something very weird going on. I have the new email adress (he did sent it himself) Somewhere I believe that the guy wants to do business on a decent way but somehow doesn't manage to do so. Maybe he should stop putting auctions on for a few weeks and get all his problems settled first. I hope he read this greetings

Hi Guys, After winning an auction for the Nismo Pennzoil , I made a deal for 305us$ (TP incl) for the Penzoill and the Raybrig TA04. After 2 weeks he asked me what NSX I wanted ; The TL01 or the TA04 . . . He said that the deal couldn't go through with th e TA04 unless I pay him an extra 20 us$ . . . which I did (stupid fool i am) Then after 4 weeks he asked me to sent a mail to Paypal asking for a refund . I got the refund for the 20 us$ but for the 305 us$ I marked "goods not as described". Paypal doesn't refund in this case. Now 7 weeks later he still promises to refund . He doesn't reply to my mails any more. He sais he can't send them cause Paypal doesn't want to give the money to him. This is not my problem. I did sent a payment 7 weeks ago. I did my part but have to pay for his clumpsy way of doing business. And now I'm fedup doing that ! I will start an official Ebay complaint. Watch out for him !!

I understood it that way to Bibbo, but still I don't understand why to pay the extra costs to Ebay. I know that he'll charge them through to the seller , so in fact the sellers pays them. If you're not sure wether to thrust another person then don't buy at all. ps 1. I've learned my lesson 2 years ago giving over 5000 us$ to an criminal in Idahoe thinking I'd bouhgt over 50 Tamiya's. ps 2. My Idahoe friend. It still isn't over !! Be carefull my friends ! Koen
