Well it looks like this is gonna be a decent relaunch of EB!
I have no idea what im bringing yet, other than my ramp.... obviously

That'll do.
-
Ok then, perhaps a trip to the skatepark is in order then. If you fancy it sometime next week Mr P?
-
Hi Dave, ermm after taking over leadership of this, I haven't really done anything about it. I've been meaning to come on here and see when people are gonna be about. So who of the original group is still about, Mr_p? Jozza? Stu? Maybe we could sort out a date for next month.

Oi! Stop hijacking our thread for your own personal rabblings Josh [
]. Right now to address the more important things. As you say Buzz, it would be a shame not to continue having Eastern Bash meets, considering its now been happening for over a year. I would gladly stand in as the organiser, if all I have to do is arrange a date, how hard can that be [
]. I expect there is more to it than that, but anyways. You've done a fine job of getting it up and running though, so good on you for that. I just hope you'll practice your driving a bit before you start racing [
].Merry Christmas everyone!
-
I take it that its not worth me turning up then?
-
I might actually be busy that day [
] Ill have to see if i can arrange something, I wouldn't want to ruin my 100% attendance record [

As nice a offer as that is Josh, Thetford is even further away than Red Lodge (Newmarket) for me.
-
I think ill be around then, so that sounds good to me.

The largest ones I know of are MOAB's by Proline.

Hope this helps, I have been told that there are ones even larger than them. Maybe someone else on here nows?

I've never done the beach thing either, sounds like it could be fun!
-
I just used longer erm 'bits that go on the bottom of the shocks' and attach to the screwy bit, to hold the base which keeps the spring in place (Yes im down with the terminology[
]). I used 'adjusters' that are normally used to go on the end steering rods and things like that. Im pretty sure it can't get much higher now, without some kind of chassis alteration (though I could be wrong?) -
She gets everywhere that bl**dy woman! She appeared in a little maze game someone showed me, at which point i screamed! lol

By the orders of Buzz, I will be attending this sunday. I shall be bringing:
King Blackfoot
Desert Gator
Fighter Buggy
Subaru Impreza
and maybe also me Gravel Hound
Would you like me to bring my ramp for added carnage?
-
Usually 4WDs made into RWD don't handle well at all, as RWD buggies need different suspension setup and weight distribution (much to the rear, thats why the usually have motor behind rear axle)
Cheers
I agree, I made my TB-01 RWD once. It went a bit faster, but was hidious to steer.

Thats looking top quality mate. I wish I had to skill to build something like that, let alone the patience!
Although it would no doubt be destroyed after the first time I used it [

I will be there, with a reborn fighter buggy! For bash antics as usual. Any idea what the weather is going to be like?
-
I think its more a case of have I recovered lol. Yeah I would be up for some more bashing!
-
That sounds good to me!
-
Im considering joining you lot on sunday, but i haven't quite decided yet.
-
I've still got my Master System II in the loft somewhere, god knows if it still works. I also have a Sega Mega Drive and SNES. The SNES is currently connected to my 5.1 surround sound setup, so playing Super Mario World is so much better!
-
I reckon over all it will be the Xbox and thats not just because I've got one. But I also think that the Nintendo Wii will be popular as well. Plus you can get an Xbox and a Wii for the price of one PS3!
I almost forgot the most important thing, HALO 3!
-
........what ah oh! I've not been on here for ages, sunday sounds good to me. I shall be there with all the usual stuff to erm drive/jump/crash, possibly not in that order though!
-
I will indeed be attending! With all the usual stuff and my new ramp. Looking foward to it as always, just don't expect me to recreate anything from my movie lol

Hello fellow Eastern Bashers! I noticed we had dropped back to the second page, so I thought that with the next meet being only 2 weeks away, it was worth bringing it back to the front. But I will also make it a relevent post. After the success and major amusement of the 'Extreme Jumping' at the last meet, I thinking it might be worth investing in a proper ramp, like those plasticy ones you can get from Argos. Although I must admit the 'materials' we found lying around at Red Lodge did make one badword of a jump! Just a thought, anyway I have a feeling 'Wonder Woman' will be taking to the skies again what ever happens!
