  1. Wow Jim, what a story. I got my first RC Car when I was like 14 or 15, back when I was still in Switzerland. With a job during the summer I bought my self a Grasshopper, later on I also got a Kyosho Lazer and Toyota Celica (which I still have the box of), that car was fast. Before I moved back to the US, I gave all my stuff to my friends. After I read the article about bruiser writte by Richard on Extreme RC Car, that's when I got my self in to the whole 3-speed craze. While running RC4WD business, it gave me a lots of opportunity trying a lots of different cars, also making a lots of parts for them. My dream right now is a build a 1:9 scale truck just like the bruiser with my own parts [] -Hua
  2. I have not surprise to see that you have this type of experience. JPS has been really behind in orders lately. A couple of things you should do, call them get a refund first. Since nothing has been shipped. And maybe ask them to send to you as COD and you should get a discount by now since you have waited. It never hurt to ask [] I was actually the one who met with JPS owner and got the bruiser wheel going. At this point, I havn't got any wheels neither for almost a month and I have a lots of customers in line waiting as well. This is crazy consider I am his biggest & only distributor. From what I understood, JPS lost an employee just a few weeks ago, so that delayed the production. And they were on back order for a long time already, so more delays. Again JPS don't just make RC stuff. I mention all this, not because I want to make it sounds like an excuss in terms how they treated this delay, just FYI. In the next few weeks, there will be newer and more advanced & realistic bruiser, blazer, mountaineer wheels coming out with another source, so hopefully there won't be that many delays. I just got some patch of wheels last night and more are coming tomorrow. So I assume he is back in shape again. -Hua @ RC4WD
  3. Here is one Mountaineer with Tacoma body. [] -Hua

  6. Hi everybody, Let me introduce my self, my name is Hua. I am the owner of RC4WD. I have been surfing tamiyaclub for a while already, but never got a chance to chat much with everbody. I actually did met a couple of very nice people from this board in person already. I don't own that many very vintage tamiya cars as many of you guys do, but I am a big Bruiser fan. I own a couple of them. Because my business, I work with a lots of different companies to release new products for the bruiser. Currently I offer a couple of aluminum bruiser wheels and shocks mounts. The next big releast will be an all aluminum radio box. And we are also working on an replacement aluminum axle. Hope to chat with guys more often in the future. Happy Holiday! -Hua
