  1. NIB vintage Grasshopper for sale. Excellent conditoin. EUR 250,- plus postage. Worldwide shipping at cost.
  2. Especially when it is painted in that super cool red.
  3. These are Wild One front arms. Original FAV's front arms have a shorter E7 and E8 parts and make a narrow tread at front.
  4. Selling a new in box Fighting Buggy. Excellent condition. EUR 190,- plus postage. Will ship worldwide at cost.
  5. I think I also have some new hump packs but never tested them though. I cannot remember anymore where I got these from. I have them several years now.
  6. This is my long time project that I have started in June 2008 and finished this summer. The car went through many stages of change and modifications until it looks like now. It is based on a vintage Bruiser frame with loads of extra mods and a true working exhaust. It is just a very rough and basic video but I hope you enjoy it nevertheless.
  7. Indeed I felt it is better to see them side by side. It may work for some models to fit the modern hump packs but, in some cases the oposite wire outlet may be a disadvantage. I had to cut the shrink tube on both sides of the hump to get it into the battery compartment of my FAV. But I actually don't like that workaround.
  8. Here is what I meant. The left is a modern Hump Pack, a vintage Tamiya Hump Pack and 3 repro hard cases. The power cables on the modern battery pack is on the opposite side than the Hump Pack. That may be inconvenient with some models. Also the hump on the modern pack is larger due to shallower angle of the shrink tube. I will try to make a battery pack out of modern cells and fit into the repro cases. These will work better with my vintage FAV and Wild One as the 7.2v Racing Packs go in very tight.
  9. Problem wit these hump packs is, they may not right fit into their places because the shrink tube at the hump is larger than the hardcase were. I bought one but cannot fit it into my vintage FAV for example. Also the cables exit the pack the opposite way than the original hump packs. I have got some repro hump hardcases sone years ago and eanted to make hump packs with modern NI-MH batteries but never got around to solder them on my own (due to lack of battery pack making skills) and to find someone to make them. I also have alot of hump packs that could be turned into modern packs.
  10. It is dark, we have -6° degree and snowfall. So I decided to have a chilly evening in the garden. I took out the garden stove and the camping chair of the garage, made a fire and enjoyed the cool fresh air and the silence surrounding me. I just listened to the crackling sound of fire and the snowfleaks falling to the ground.
  11. Two Guide books. One 1987 and a rare 1985 (with the Hotshot cut away Hotshot). Both in very good condition. I think I now have 3 of the rare 1985 Guide Books
  12. That is a very good idea which I might turn into my New Years resolution as well.
  13. Started phase 2 of my hobby room rebuild. I began to disassamble the large cupboard, sorting out unnessesary stuff and making space for more glass vitrines and a new storage cupboard wall that will look nicer.
  14. As title says, I am looking for a new build rolling chassis of the early F1 cars like Brabham BT50, Williams FW07 and Lotus 79. Preferrably a chassis with white bumpers but do not mind if someone has new chassis parts also. Please let me know if you have something new for these early chassis.
  15. Isn't the Grasshopper/Hornet Chassis missing the mounting struds for the msc?
  16. I'd say it is the diff spur gear that all Grasshopper gearbox related models have.
  17. Today a NIB vintage Grasshopper that I am going to build for my display cabinet and a NIB Technituned Motor. It's my second one and will just be displayed beside one of the Mk1 Hotshots.
  18. I can find a lot yoda emoticons on google. Can't imagine that they are all copyrighted. Maybe I'm wrong.... Well, at last we are just dealing with the right supplier.
  19. You won't believe but, there will be something new in my mail the next days but I don't tell you now what it is.
  20. Uhhh - ouch! The thing with the front uprights hurts and my heart starts bleeding. I will try something here with my hotshot uprights. Maybe it works to repair yours. I will let you know the outcome then. Unfortunately I don't have Mk1 uprights in spare. Don't keep your head hanging. Most collections in museums do display their items as they are. Rough and worn. Somehow a rough display tells so much more than a shiny fresh build one. Your Hotshot can tell a story where a new build can't.
  21. Cool Star Wars! I'm Star Wars fan too. Unfortunately I could not participate the premiere although I've got an invitation. Will buy the DVD anyway. Oh boy the uprights are impossible to find I guess. May the luck be with him. (why there is no Yoda-emoticon)?
  22. Soon the hints will be disclosed. May the patience be with you my friend.
  23. The real value of an item (whatever it is) will be clear after a big economy crash strikes the world.
