This probably came up before. Can you fit on a mountaineer either a clud buster or jugg roll bars. Has anybody member of this board done this. Is it a direct fit or does it require little mod?

Hi there. I am looking for 1 rear suspension spring, 2 dogbones (shaft that turns the wheels), and E12 (white plastic suspension piece). Thanks for looking. Darwin

People with money on an ebay auction = good for seller, bad for the rest of us. I remember a couple of years ago when a NIB SS sold for 2500.00. Now, I think the price has gone down significantly. But then again, it's a matter of timing. The same item could sell drastically more or less than another identical item in a matter of days. It really is weird. The only thing I noticed on ebay is that these kinda things happen usually when someone with money is on a buying spree. Dee

I am looking for a Top Force evo in new built condition. I can pay or we can do some type of trade, etc. From the picture, one of the xr311s is the original. http://www.tamiyaclub.com/trades_model.asp?cid=2252&id=55

Look at my Boomerang in my showroom. It does not come with electronics. I has Ball Bearings. It is dirty but in good condition. Make me an offer if you like. Tamiyafanatic

Some one accidentaly stepped on my new built Super Champ body. Cracked it pretty bad...even the fog light went thru the body. Luckily, the new built Rough Rider body was unharmed...it was only inches away.

I noticed that we have a vintage review section on this site. What about compiling a set of pictures that shows the actual life counterparts of our favorite vintage RCs. Recently, one member uploaded a picture of the Porsche 959 rally. I remember seeing a Celica grb back on Roby's old forum. We also know of those Rough Riders, Sand Scorchers, and Fords from that one site. Whacha guys think?

yes, that was me. I finnaly got the insert for 25.00. The seller actually offered to sell the box with insert for 100.00. I declined knowing that it could probably sell for 75.00 on ebay. I was wrong, it sold for 150. Still, I would NOT pay 150 for a box with rips (no offense to seller, he is a great guy).

rc-depot usually buys empty boxes for his collection. most of the time he WILL win auctions as I have been watching auctions on boxes. Luckily for this particular box, I was able to contact the seller before it was even put on auction and buy the insert inside. (Yeah! I finally got one, see my SS, and you'll know what I mean).

Anybody ever notices the two different box art for the rough rider (see ebay)? One is depicted with the rc bumper and the other as a more realistic offroad model. What's the history?

quote:Just a quick note, I won a Rough Rider and a Bruiser from this redline guy, sent him the moneyorder and have not yet recieved the goods. He claims to have not yet recieved the funds and it has been 12 days. Do not send money, I will let everyone know if the goods arrive Thanks AJ id="quote">id="quote">Looks like he is selling another NIB Bruiser and NIB Rough Rider

those things are neat. what do you think is a reasonable/average price for a NIB one. I checked ebay but no real history there. dc

Hi there. Anyone's got an extra celica or porsche 959 rear spring and two front dogbones? Thanks, Darwin

Whats your pride and joy in your collection?

For me it is the Bruiser. I never previously owned one. Back in the days, I used to visit the local hobby shop just to see the mighty big box sit on the shelf. With a price tag of $350, that was too much money for a poo 7th grader in 1989. Now, I own two Bruisers, one kept in the box for me to admire. -
I remember one of the racing buggies I acquired was fitted with an after market lexan body with those parts too to fit other rims/wheels. Darwin

He emailed me about his rough rider before it even showed up in ebays search engine. So I had a chance to buy-it-now last night and almost did it. Then I checked his feedback (before it became private). Out of that 20 or so, he actually sold on about 4 or 5, in which two were negative feedbacks. The rest of the positive feedbacks were from his buying. Oddly, these purchases were mostly from private sellers too. The handfull of legit ones were from 1 to 2 feedback sellers. So I decided against purchasing.
