  1. After a day of Mr Muscle I’m down to the clear primer. Scrubbing it is!
  2. Thanks all - I'll be buying a couple of liters of bleach on the way home and giving it a try!
  3. Hi All, I have a Midnight Pumpkin chrome edition that has been run and looking worse for wear. I intend to retire it to the shelf with a new paint job but need to strip off the chrome plating and do some repairs first. I've had success in the past with stripping chrome with household bleach but also had other attempts fail to touch it so I'm guessing there are two plating methods in play. Anyone successfully stripped a Brat/Clod/Pumpkin etc chrome edition? Cheers! Simon
  4. Looking good! If you put the Wild One front shocks on it - they will lean back a bit further into the wheel arch.
  5. Very nice!! Really must do some Pershing!!!
  6. ..I stand corrected - Modelsport and Wonderland will take a pre order at £429 - though I suspect they probably have more back orders than they will be able to fulfill too.... https://www.modelsport.co.uk/tamiya-avante-2011/rc-car-products/38927 https://www.wonderlandmodels.com/products/tamiya-rc-avante-2011-4wd-buggy-model-kit/?gclid=Cj0KCQjwqvvLBRDIARIsAMYuvBHHbUcfKGQivJ5koWRHAiC_hEKPeYJykamFddxgNTNliPvJ9ctllV8aAoDoEALw_wcB
  7. I suspect the UK stock will be sucked up into back orders - I placed my order in February and have heard from the supplier that the UK distributor had issues with getting hold of enough of them to meet demand which is why its almost impossible to find a UK shop willing to take an order - I think they want to see them first!! Stella is Hong Kong based I think - different stock allocation - I think that region has had their lot and sold out of them already

Hi Bart, will do at cost - only the yellow ones left though - the Astute set went last night on eBay to a guy in Australia!

  14. They're the stock yellow wheels yes. It would probably cost more to post them to Australia than you could find some locally though I would have thought?
