Hello Tony, You have a vast array of choices when it comes to esc for the hilux, it runs a standard 27turn 540 motor. This more or less means that any esc will be suitable. I like Nosram esc's as they are wallet friendly and have decent build quality.

Spray your red 1st, get good even coverage, you then back it with white, or if you really want bright red, and this is what I usually do I back it with yellow! Makes the red pop!

I think hpi may do a set aswell.

If its the modern hilux you have, the stock wheels are 1.9 rim size, so 2.2s will need rims aswell.
