i think his shipping cost are going to be high. he wanted £13 just to post in the UK, that to me is way over priced. i cant see how he came to that price, as the car had no radio gear, its overall size/weight isn,t too big/heavy and parcel force are cheaper than royal mail. i posted an original wild willy the other day (to a fellow member as it turns out), it was complete with radio gear and transmitter etc - so it was fairly heavy and awkward. and i posted that using parcel force, for a cost just short of £8. it was a bargain though, and i can see netsmiths point about feeds to live auctions. i was tempted to snipe it at the last moment, but i saw most of the bidders were TC members, and i didn,t want to step on anyones toes. have fun with it[].

has anyone out there got any spare super champ parts that they could sell me?. new or used, i,m not bothered. basically i,m after a REAR BUMPER & a REAR GUARD. these two items are described as they are in the manual, on page 5. i have a paypal account, but it will have to be a credit card transaction if i do use that. feel free to contact me through the usual showroom channels. cheers!, james.

i think the "new look" is terrible, what was wrong with the old look?. finding information on the items listing is seriously hard work now. what i do like though.......is the icons tamiyanewbie is using - the drinking smilie faces. where can i get me some of those characters?, are they "home made"?. the one falling over reminds me of myself somehow........

its ok, i,m sorted - thanks to twinset - cheers mate[]. looks like my rough rider is back on the road again. i plan to somehow fit that gear in place of the plastic gear thats the same size, and try to increase the life of the gearbox. it eats that little intermediate gear regularly. i,m not running anything fancy on it - just a sport tuned motor and a 2400 race pack - perhaps i should be a bit easier on the throttle...[:I]. still, no doubt it will all back fire on me....

i,m looking for the brass gear/shaft. the description and part number according to the manual is - M17 "DRIVE SHAFT". i,m in the UK, but i have a paypal account, although there,s nothing in it, so i would have to pay using my credit card. new or used, i,m not fussy. drop me a line if you can help. thanks.

due to me being "on the dole" in a couple of weeks time, i too am forced to sell some of my showroom gems []. pretty much all my spares are going to be sold aswell, but i,m not planning on selling the NIB kits. this lot is just a small "tester" to see how things go. http://cgi6.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...&sort=3&rows=25 sorry chaps, but these are going to be UK sales only.

did anyone see the NIB blitzer beetle shell that sold for a £100 the other day on ebay. fair play to the seller!, but obviously the buyer doesn,t know that you can still buy them from a tamiya seller in japan for less than £30 - thats including the shipping costs to the UK - he,s called HIRO and thats where i bought mine from. it was brand new, and took about a week to get here. my sales never go like that[]

unlucky mate!, but i know how you feel. nearly the same thing happened to me over a NIB tamtech kit - i wont mention his name, but i,m pretty sure he,s not a TC member. i paid for the kit using paypal - which he accepted - then 48 hours or so later he tells me he doesn,t like my address and point blankly refuses to ship the kit to me, (he,s in america and i,m in the UK) of course i go ape and hurl offensive emails at him, but he never answered one of them after that initial refusal. i contacted ebay and they did nothing to help me,they were about as much use as a chocolate fire place!, so i complained to paypal and they investigated, and after about two weeks they gave me a full refund - phew!!!!!!. it just goes to show that nothing on ebay is 100%. i,ve also been waiting for a tatty old monster beetle shell now for about three weeks..........uh-oh..............[8)]. hope you settle this one!!!!!.

hey, good find!, there,s loads of tamiya stuff up for grabs, but some of it is just as expensive as ebay. i did find a NIB subaru brat for about £500.00!!!!,but i also found a sad but complete boomerang for less than £1.00 with only a couple of days to go!!!!. still....i,ve had a go at signing up,he!,he!....looks complicated though......[?]

has anyone out there got an old hotshot box they could sell me?. it doesn,t have to have all the inner packing, but i am looking for something tidy looking - not all crushed, ripped or tapped up. i,m in the UK and i have a paypal account, sensible prices please!. cheers!, james.

You just have to check these out....

i,ve just checked that site out, and its SPOT-ON!!!!!!!!!!!. i,m using a fast cable internet service so the video,s only take a couple of minutes to download. its a bit like the MX "crusty, demons of dirt" video,s - but with RC cars, not MX bikes!. some great shots and some great music!. well found!.[] -
well call me a dunce, but i,ve been trying for ages now to download some of the vintage video clips on roby,s old tamiya site, but i can,t do it?. should they work through the media player?. i,ve tried down loading the program roby says their encoded with, but that doesn,t work either. i,ve even tried downloading them as files, that seems to work initially but about halfway through it all freezes up. i haven,t got a clue about this sort of thing, so anyone got any advise?. anyone got any of their own anywhere else on the net that i can watch?. cheers!.

the same thing happened to me!. i sold a selectionof NIB pinion gears a while back, then a few weeks later they appear again!. the new seller used a different picture, but he used MY title AND description!!!!!!!!!,not only that, they sold for more money than he bought them for!!!!!!!!!. DOH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thats Ebay i guess........you never can tell whats going to happen.

all i can say to this is, i snipe pretty much ALL the important auctions that i watch and want to win. for me, its the only way that i win anything!, whenever i bid early, 9/10 times i,ll loose that auction to a fellow sniper, and i think fair play to him!. i dont use "sniper sotware" for this though, as long as the auction finishes before midnight and i,m near my PC, i,ll stay up and wait for those dying moments then put a bid in, other wise sometimes i TXT a bid in. no-ones ever sent me snotty Emails, but i seriously think those sort of people ought to chill out and learn to bid better. no one likes a bad looser[)]
