  1. I am in great need of the 2 pieces that connect to the rear of the lexan body by screw that holds it against the roll cage. If anyone has these spares laying around i could really use them thanks.
  2. I have a new set of fox wheels for trade. I need a set of white wild one wheels. I also am in need of a wild one decal sheet new or repro. Lmk
  3. well I just got an email back from the seller and he is willing to either refund part of my money or take the car back for a full refund. Now i must decide what i want to do. I guess a courteous email can get positive results.[]
  4. Well here is my situation i am currently in. I have been after a wild one in good shape for a long time on ebay. I have had some very close acquisitons only to be sniped in the last seconds of an ebay auction. Well just last week on ebay i snagged one. The buyer said it was in and i will quote " in excellent condtion". Well The pictures did look pretty good so i bought it. There were a couple of things i noticed right away by the pics that weren't right but they were an easy fix. Well the auction also stated as is- no returns. Well I have had good luck in the past with such seller and i took another chance. I got the car tonight when i got home from work. I opened the box and to my surprise the car in NOT in any way in excellent condtion. I am pretty steamed about this and have contacted the seller to try and work something out. I am heavy into ebay and have over 800 feedbacks with no negatives. I am not one to quickly leave one either. The seller has already left me a positive but i am unsure what i will do if the seller does not compromise something with me. I often sell cars on ebay and i do my best to be as honest as possibe about the items i sell. To me it is very rewarding to have someone that is happy with the items they bought from you. I just don't understand how people can be so loose with the words "in excellent condition, like new, very good, etc." I mean are their standards that low? Just looking for advice from other collectors on what i should do.. If the seller does not work something out with me i will probably relist the car but i will not describe it as in excellent condition.. good yes , excellent no!
  5. I was wondering if anyone here has tried their hand at vacuum forming. I know that you can build your own set up. I also fool with slot cars and know people who make their own bodies. Of course the scale is smaller 1/43 , 1/32, and 1/24 but they are able to make very nice detailed bodies. I also know about kamtec and their models. Has anyone tried to form their own bodies? I know there are some bodies that are impossible to find adn would be very desirable by others as well as myself.
  6. What would be your top 5 for tamiya's most realistic looking buggies?
  7. I also hate it when you are are watching a much wanted item and somebody talks the seller into ending early. This last month there was a holiday buggy on ebay in relatively good shape and somebody got him to sell it for $30. I wanted to email the seller to tell him he got suckered but i didn't. I would have gladly gave him $30. As far as a seller you want bids early and often. As a buyer you want to wait till the last second.
  8. I wheel and deal on ebay often. I always wait till the last seconds to bid. I have lost some much wanted auctions by being outbid with just a few seconds left on much wanted items. It steams me sometimes but that is the nature of the game. If you want it put the highest amount you would pay in the last seconds and hold on.
  9. I have a very nice rough rider that will be coming up for sale or trade. The overall shape of it is very very good. The body has never been painted and some of the body parts are still on the tree. It has been driven very little with not many signs of use. I also have some nikkos for sale on ebay right now that will end in a couple of days. I have a nikko black thunder 4x4, midnight crusher 4x4, and a scorpion truck 2wd. I have tons of spare parts for these models. Anything you could need with the exception of tires. I have bodies(toyota) chassis, gears, wheels, etc. I even have a bunch of nikko controllers minus the antennas. Anyhow back to the rough rider as far as trades go here are few cars im interested in: hi-lift supershot kyosho javelin kyosho scorpion boomerang frog sand rover sand scorcer if interested i can gets pics to ya
  10. For anyone who has that soft spot for nikkos. I have some nice trucks on ebay right now. I also have tons of extra parts for the these trucks. bodies, chassiis, wheels, etc. I have a nikko black thunder, scorpion, and midnight crusher on there now. If u need parts lmk 150092909859

  12. Could someone who owns one of the cars tell me what the measurement is from the center of the front wheel to the center of the rear wheel? thanks alot. I need this for a project.
  13. Hello. I am looking for the prop shaft cover for the thundershot. Does anyone have a spare laying around they would trade or sell? Also are there other tamiya cars that use this same part? thanks
  14. I have a question and would like an honest answer. None of this playing games. Is tamiya going to really do a 3 speed re-release or not? I find it very difficult to sipher through all the baloney on here sometimes. Just want an honest answer. Thanks
