I am after the top front J6 part which is only used on the FF01 set up with this chassis so to all of you TA02 owners who have a 53166 FRP chassis set installed you will have this part spare. If you would like to sell it to me I would be most garteful. Please contact me. See pic here http://www.tamiyaclub.com/pictureframe.asp...009220839_7.jpg (thanks OCD for your picture)

Can Someone Help Me With Info On My Bullhead?

I dont mind at all - well actually I do. To start with it is Kelvin not Kevin, Secondly I dont need one as I already have a couple, Thirdly what gives you the cheek to suggest I would try and rip them off? I have never tried that and never would with any one! - I have vented now and will move on. Possibly I didn't make my views clear enough - What I should have said is that this is a collectable model now and depending on what she wants to spend going forward they might be better with something more modern as these older models cost a lot more to keep going and possibly for what they could get for this(Ebay) they could get a complete RC truck (Tamiya of course) with full radio gear etc which I think would be more suitable for her son. I certainly wouldn't let any of my kids run something this good or old. I wish Nicole and Zachary (great name Zac as I have an 8 year old boy called Zac also) well with whatever they decide to do with it. -

Now that is what I call a great buy. Surely someone who lives near them could donate a transmitter so the little guy can get it running. I would actually however probably sell it and get him something modern which when he breaks it (which he will) he can easily repair/replace. It looks too clean to run actually. -
already have some of those - thanks.

Hi all I know this is a long shot but I am after a pair of Blitzer Beetle front wheels (new) which I know are hard to find. I need to complete my beetle collection and add a Blitzer to it. I have all the other parts - I have just got some rears which are hopefully winging there way to me. regards Kalsh

I have just picked up a old but new built Kyosho Super Ten Sports chassis, which is RWD and Electric. It came with an exploded view of assembly and appears to be assembled correctly. There however appears to be a problem with the gear cover which isn't sitting flat with the aluminium motor /gearbox plate. I think there may be an incorrect sized washer as the first washer sits flush in the spur gear against the metal bushing. The Washer closest to the gear cover doesn't sit flush within the spur gear which I think is the problem and is held in place by a very small rubber washer. The only problem I see is that if I install a smaller washer there will only be the gear cover which will hold the spur gear in place which doesn't appear correct. I will load some pics in my showroom if you dont understand what I mean. I only got this as I had a couple of bodies which are 280mm wheelbase which I thought I could use on it.

if you keep a few (3 or 4) in your pocket after a long time they shine up quite nice........and it keeps them out of her indoors way! -

Hi Bryn With no mod to the gearbox the safe option is a silver can standard 540 motor. Some people will run a Sports Tuned motor and that should be OK unless the gerabox is too worn. Without modification the gearboxes dont like too much power.

I have managed to pick up a couple of these motors in recent trades but the problem I have is that between the two motors both have broken bell end parts. I am fortunate that I can put one motor together from the parts. The other parts need to be glued or replaced. Has anyone had any success in glueing an end bell? I am thinking if worse comes to worse I could set the timing where I want it and then araladite(which is a 2 pot glue) and set it all in place. Any suggestions?? Or if anyone has a spare second hand complete end bell (I dont need brushes) please PM me.

Think yourself very lucky you have Tamiya that you can order from. In little old New Zealand we are totally reliant on our LHS or Ebay (or friends via this club - you know who you are - thank you) who will order stuff for you from Tamiya USA, JAnderson answered a very simple inquiry I had a while back and like most people we respect the employees of large corporations as they are simply doing the best they can in the industry. I hope you can get your body parts. I to tried to get some parts namely chrome tree for the M04 beetle an M tree for the Ford 350 but it is proving very elusive on bth parts.
