  1. hopefully not!! But lets face it we are just big kids at heart and what kids does anyone know that wants to wait!!!
  2. he had 200 and there are plenty still there Q, P ,L and Bodies (Still an expensive way to get a complete set). When oh when will the full body sets be listed??
  3. I purchased some wheels to fit a TGX from Tower Hobbies which were on back order and didn't read the fine print re postage which meant it came via first class registered airmail ( or something like that) so the wheels ended up costsing 4 times what they should off given I live down under. You say it is only one set of wheels , well I managed to order 3 sets. A lesson definately learnt...........
  4. Has anyone got a PDF of the Manual yet or direct me to where it is available?

  6. JR is splitting body sets out already....or he is splitting out full kits? ...hard to say as I haven't seen the body kits for sale anywhere yet. Great opportunity to pick up some smaller parts without having to buy a complete body set...they appear to be selling quite quickly.
  7. I had a similar problem. I wanted to use HPI rims. TA Mark had a good idea with the hex drives to reduce the offset. I have never got around to trying this but have the idea stored away for when I ever get around to it.Have a look http://www.tamiyaclub.com/forum/index.php?...c=46901&hl=
  8. I agree. Peter is genuine. I have some of his diffs and the work is top class. As I have said before lets all support him rather than others who aren't TC members.
  9. I picked up a 1/8 Monogram Corvette whih I am considering putting on a Tamiya chassis. It didn't however come with the assembly instructions. I want to use as much of it as possible. Does anyone out there have this model and a copy of the instructions and provide a scanned copy? I would be most grateful. thanks

  12. yes, my omission Peter is going to send upgraded parts for no extra charge. I am in the camp 'Peter actually cares" as he didn't have to improve them any further.
  13. Mine have finally turned up and Peter advises he is going to make some more improvements to them so they ar more durable. What I got already looks really good but I will wait for the upgrade. I trust everyone who has an SRB is supporting him and is going to or already has purchased one.
  14. Thanks anthony. Unfortunately that is a FS12-SW engine in that manual. I tried all the TG10 manuals on that page and none have the LT motor.
  15. Does anyone have a engine breakdown sheet for this motor and a manual of a TG10 which this motor came in with the standard tuning guide. I would really appreciated a electronic copy. I have checked the Tamiya site and the manuals there have different motors. Thanks
  16. I have a couple of questions. Are the original Hornet decals different to the rerelease ones? Does anyone out their make or know of anyone who makes quality repro original clodbuster decals. thanks in advance.
  17. If you are talking original blackfoot, a Subaru Brat body(same as mud blaster) will fit with the F part body posts rfom a mud blaster. Also a Blitzer beetle body will fit but the body posts for this are a little harder to come by as they come on the E tree from the Monster Beetle.
  18. Pete, It was a pleasure to help you out. I had set my price when the exchange rate was a lot better for me but given the experience you had suffered I decided to let you have it for the original price I listed and at the end of the day and we both were happy as I have reinvested the funds already in some other tamiya parts naturally enough. cheers kelvin
  19. 1 set (4) Minyang Rockwilder rims/tires (17mm hex). I won a set of these on my local auction site along with the clod tires and want to run them on a Clod Buster - does anyone have any ideas how I could do this and if there are parts I could adapt to achieve this. I have some 17mm hexes which appear to have about a 7mm diameter inside so I need to get from the standard tamiya axle shalf to about 7mm. Surely some has already completed this before. thanks.
  20. I have been after a few Blitzer bodies for a while and have been watching Ebay, mainly Jasons site, and low and behold the one day I dont look someone (a reseller I believe) snaps up all 30 listed. Hopefully JR will list some more. I know there is a lot of speculation that the sand Scorcher will be rereleased soon - and I am one who hopes so with the original shaped body, so that what I consider to be greed (which they are purely entitled to to of course as they are trying to make a living) comes back to bite the reseller. I had also been afteret a couple of Clod bodies(US$23) also and managed finally to get some plus new chrome parts after missing out many many times to the same purchaser, a reseller also. All part of the fun of Ebay I guess.
  21. that is good news . I just hope it doesn't drag on any longer for you. I have alwasy been very lucky with Ebay (touch wood of course as now I am bound to have a problem)
  22. Thats Pete I see Jim has one Blackfoot bag. I can get a Super Clod bag also which appears to be the best buy at present. I also had a look today and see that the body set I sent you is still in transit. cheers Kelvin.
  23. I am trying to resurrect a number of Monster Beetles and Blackfoots and have found that many of them dont have the shock bushes9Tamiya calls them pipe) in place. I wanted to know what other current models on the market which have been split out on the bay have the bushs in a parts bag (8 of them at least and they are 4mm x 6mm). I am thinking a metal parts bag from the Super Clod. Anyone got any other suggestions? originalpart no was 3580010
  24. I picked up a couple of original blackfoots with only one body which wasn't in great shape. I hope to get at least one good runner out of the two and have a few parts to assist with the ressurection of another one in parts. these shocks were on the rear of each one and are aluminium apart from the gold ones where the lower mounting parts are plastic. Does anyone have any idea what thet are off? thanks.
  25. I agree that this is simply unacceptable. I will never use that seller. His prices were always very rich anyway. I know this is no solution for you but you should have contacted me in respect to the 100% complete body set I have for sale (as per the PM you have since sent me) at a price considerably less than his one. I hope you get some sort of resolution from the seller. good luck.
