I am thinking about buying a 3 speed kit and have an old Futaba FP-T4L transmitter. I know nothing about this transmitter and have looked on the net. I believe these are still an AM transmitter and it appears they work on 72-79mhz - Can anyone enlighten me? I did chuck a 29mhz TX chip in it and it worked on my 2 channel receiver in my TA02. I dont have a 4 channel receiver so before I look at investing any more money I need some help on what channels these actuually work on and what receiver I should be looking for. Many thanks

one just went fro $132US on the Bay so the market has spoken - a very good buy by someone.

Looks like the original one as it has the original decals. Try a couple of rubber bands on both rear rims before you put the tires on - much easier and less messy than glue and makes tire changing a breeze. super glue difinately works however.

Will a DT-02 body fit a DT-01 chassis (with or without modification)?
-
Finally got me an original Clod (The body unfortunately is stuffed and no grill - a little annoyed as I asked if it was all there in the auction but the pics were really bad) and see that i need to upgrade the steering lankage which I think I can handle myself. Additionally the anti rotation brackets need to be aluminium. Does anyone here make the anti rotation brackets? If soo I would be keen to buy some. Alternatively what sellers to you recommend to purchase the aluminium replacement from. Thanks.

lots......but I would say that having one also! I would think on Ebay you would get around $250US on the right day but it depends on the economics on the day i.e. supply and demand - I would buy a blitzer body (black) for a runner.

and I was just thinking the other day that Tamiya had the ability to make these well crafted box wrenches so it was just a matter of time before they remade some of the models with metal chassis parts which they have recently just announced . I have parts and tools are everywhere so too hard to count them all up but definately more than 20, and it is still annoying when you want one and it isn't where you thought it was.

Can someone please help me out with a few questions about the Stadium Thunder. Firstly do the Blitzer Beetle and Stadium Blitzer have the same gear box internal gears? What other model has the same gearbox? Where does one source replacement gears from as I couldn't see any on the Bay? I ask as I have just picjked up a second hand one and plan to convert it to a blitzer beetle if I can find some blitzer beetle body mounts. Thanks Kelvin

Thank you for the RuggedMan - that is the one I read - I thought it used to be in tutorials.

I know I have read a how to fit a wheelie bar to a Super or King Blackfoot but as much as I search I cant find it again. Can anyone point me in the right direction? thanks.

I asked a similar question recently in respect to Super Gripper tires. Terry was kind enough to reply as follows: Any 2 inch buggy wheel will fit those tyres. This includes the old Kyosho Optima Mid, RS200, Cosworth, Tamiya Avante, Egress, Astute, Madcap, Manta Ray, Traxxas Bandit

Can someone please tell me how many decal sheets come with the Brat re release as it comes with the hard body and a polycarbonate body. Are there enough decals with the kit to do both bodies or do you need to purchase more decals? thanks.

They are for sale if anyone wants them. Just PM me with an offer. Thanks to Terry for helping yet again.

with this and the buggy champ the old finances are going to take a hit. I hope this isn't going to be a limited edition like the original. -

58441 Rough Rider "Buggy Champ" Re-release
kalsh replied to blackdogbro's topic in Re-Release Discussions
fantastic - even if they dont release the sand scorcher there are plenty of VW Blitzer bodies around coupled with repo decals to make more super scorchers. Lets just keep everything crossed that this is real and as close to the original as possible and they make plentuy of them so they aren't hard to get. I think my boy will need to get one also - without mother knowing of course!!! -
I am trying to find a wheel to fit these tires which has a hex fitting. I believe these tires were originally on the boomerang and hotshot plus a few other cars. My son is chewing through rear tires on his mad fighter and I have a few sets of these so thought the worn ones he has he can use on the concrete driveway and for the supergrippers he can use in the back yard. Any suggestions most welcomed. If the new boomerang has hex fitting please let me know. I assume these need a 62/35 rim - Is that correct?? (I know that Terry will know)

I remember reading somewhere on this sight that the saint dragon body could be converted and used on the fighter buggy chassis/mad bull/fighter buggy DT-01 chassis. Is that correct? Additionally can anyone suggest a body which can be used on these cahassis's - for my son for his first second hand buggy?? I really need a replacement body for this - can anyone help/suggest another body that might fit??(Please)

Can someone tell me what model number this is, year released and where I can locate an online copy of the manual please. Its in pretty good condition.
-
I have purchased from them before - service and postage costs were both very good.

I am trying to restore one of these (got about a 1/6th if that of the paint off) but the body doesn't have the polycarbonate light buckets which are screwed in. I realize these are probably very hard to find but wondered if anyone out there has any idea of a substitute? i.e. the new led light bucket sets from the TT01E? or has anyone out there got a real beat up body that the light buckets are still in and would be prepared to part with them?

Make sure the sellers take PayPal. I got caught out once and had to send a money order/bank cheque and then had to send another as the bank took $15 from it. Ended up making the transaction a waste of time but as others have said some good buys achieved and more to be enjoyed .

I have ordered some of these so hopefully they will work. I intend to use rear torsion bar as well. GB-06/LB GB-01 Alum F&R Oil Damper Set Option Parts From 3Racing Thanks for your advice and replys

Hi there I have searched the forums for far too long and can find very little on suggestions for replacement shocks for the sand scorcher. I am converting a couple of Super Cchamps to look alike scorchers with Blitzer bodies. I would like to put shocks on the front and the rear as I only have one pair of front shocks. I did have a rear pair which I purchased but cant find them (dare I say it I think they were probably in the bottom of a bag which got thrown out along with some Universal joints - still smarting over doing that!!). Can someone please advise some suggested aftre market shocks - they dont have to be tamiya of course. I did find an article on Losi but was a little unsure of what to do with the bottom of the shock mounts which are very small. All help appreciated. thanks
