  1. I am getting on quite well rebuilding my M03 with all new Hi-performance parts, but I am having a few problems with the GPM parts. I bought the Rear knuckles, hub carriers and the front hubs. The front hubs didn't fit properly as the wheel rubbed on them but I rectified that. Anyway, the next problem is that the Tamiya parts that connect the top of the hub carriers to the chassis doesn't fit. So I had to grind down the plastic to get them to fit. This looks rather messy and isn't ideal. Anyway, so I figured there was a GPM part to replace this but I can't find it, if they exist. This is where I need help. Otherwise I have been very disappointed in the fitment of GPM aluminium parts, the look great, but the design isn't fantastic. Thanks
  2. Also make sure you have the motor aligned using the correct holes; if you are using a stock pinion (20T), mount the motor using the 20 holes. or 16, 18 depending.
  3. Does anyone know if it would be possible to use the M03 stabilizer set if the M03 chassis has GPM aluminum suspension arms installed? Thanks in advance
  4. Just saw this on eBay; a transparent chassis and wheel set for a M03. Bet it would look awesome, and I reckon it would be pretty rare. I would have bought it if I lived in the uS. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...ssPageName=WDVW http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...5977118973&rd=1
  5. Thanks for your reply! I thought this might be the case, but it isn't too much of a problem. I will just get the non coloured Tamiya parts or have a different colour, so I could have a two tone effect with the chassis, I'll have to think about the latter though, I don't know how it would look.
  6. I have started to replace many of the parts in my MO3 Mini with the GPM aluminium parts and look they look great. However, some of the hop-ups I want are made only by Tamiya or GPM, so I will have to mix parts of different manufaturers. I'm wondering if the colours will match of the different blue anodised parts. I want some Tamiya TRF dampers (and other assorted Tamiya parts), but I want the two colours of blue to be an exact match, otherwise I will find something else. Can anyone that has two both Tamiya and GPM parts give me their opinion on the colour match? I'm quite a perfectionist, so be quite critical about the match. Thanks in advance.
  7. Yeah, I have an M03 mini which is currently being restored. Another thing to check is that the dog bones are able to spin freely, as I had a problem with this at certain steering angles.
  8. It's 27 turn I think, same as the other stock Tamiya motors.
  9. Yeah, I think the stock dampers are pretty crud so I am looking to replace them. I was wondering if the TRF Fluorine ones would fit well, as they look almost the same size. I'm too lazy to try them on the M03, anyone tried?
