built a roll cage for my new drift body. body is an HPI Weld X Toyota JZX90 Mark 2 roll cage is drinking straws and hot glue.

yeah a little disappointing... I think the body will look good when painted and fully detailed... but... not that much of a patch on the hard body. On a different note, I put together a roll cage for my new drift body!

futureworks: yes, lexan, but I do have a hard body in amongst my stuff... wouldn't fit it to a tt-01 though... done right this body should look good... just might need a different chassis under it... like an F-103GT, or something like that.

Actually the "vintage" car I saw the most of last week on yahoo auctions here in Japan was the TA-02W Taisan 911GT2. there were 4 of them listed and 2 bodies.

I'd be very surprised if they made a new chassis for the Nissan Titan racing... They'll probably take the easy route and put it on a TA-02T or a CC-01... Mind you, a sorted, longer, and wider CC-01 would be cool... having said that... It would be great if it comes on a new chassis! speculation with a company is easy with Tamiya. they will do what they always do, put it on a chassis they already make... at least they have more chassis types than another RC maker...

This little gem. It's the re-re 99T and I hand painted the helmet in as close to Senna colours as I could. looking for Camel stickers and Senna numbers for it...

this one came today. my wife tried to get one for my birthday, but Champ was out of stock. I found one by placing an order on another internet shop site here in Japan, which had 0 written under "in stock" but, obviously had one available! Tamiya released too many limited edition cars this month.

this arrived just now... good pick up online. I prefer this body to the GTR body... TGR special body Esso Ultron Tiger Supra.

Frog 16T seems like it could be the best for the silver can... I'll get a lower tooth pinion when I put the brushless in... It's 32 pitch yeah?

TGX KURE Nissan GTR just got it 2nd hand on yahoo... the engine is seized... but that's ok, I didn't want the engine... I did the electric conversion in just under 2 hours... the motor mount is a TB-02 mount for the time being. the front alloy plate is on backwards to clear my steering set up...

don't destroy the 787.

can you post a pic of the magazine, or at least more info about the magazine... other than "an asian magazine..." some people on here can read "asian magazine" articles and might be able to answer your question

there is little to no "crown land" in Japan, anything that looks open a free to use is owned by someone who will likely get upset if you go run cars on it. and the areas near the rivers I have found thus far have been not too good even for just bashing... usually covered with 2 foot of grass and rubbish... otherwise they are wet and boggy, which is why I just ordered a Traxxas Summit...
