  1. had its maiden voyage today...............[] How do I stop the screw that connects the steering arms to the servo from dropping out, happens after about 5 mins - do I locktite it? Have stripped the thread in one servo already! Please help
  2. ooops forget the above questions.. [:I] Just found the adaptor in a small bag in the bottom of the box under the wheels. Shall carry on building then []
  3. Received it - Thanks However, I have a slight problem, The little plug on the Tamiya TEU-101BK (ESC) has a small 'lug' running part way along its length which stops it from fitting into the socket on the HItec receiver. I think if this lug were removed it would fit?? Would you recommend this? Would you honour the warranty if it failed with the small 'lug' removed? Please advise. Regards Andy.
  4. Finally went for a Blackfoot Extreme - got what I consider to be a good deal with Fusion. Thanks for all your advice/comments guys, really appreciated. [^] Now I can't wait to 'get building' and then thrashing! [] I remember it was a 'Wild One' I had all those years ago not a 'Hornet'.
  5. quote: Originally posted by XanderP Instead of having the twin det or wild dagger you could have the blackfoot extreme which has the same chassis except only one motor and gearbox. its got a better bodyshell its faster and you dont need an expensive twin motor esc to run better motors.[8D] id="quote">id="quote"> oh my....decisions decisions [?] I think the Blackfoot Extreme comes with an esc now as well. Looks like this could be favourite....final decision time tommorrow then my credit card is taking a hammering!

  9. Hi all I had a Hornet (think it was anyway!) about 20 yrs ago.....ouch time flies! I have decided it is time for a new toy and would like advice on which model would be best suited for a bit of fun off road action, quite like trucks. Is it best to start with an electric car? My budget would be around £200 - £250 (I think the missus will allow this!) Thanks in advance for you much appreciated help.
