Wild Willy 2 hex wheels
iluvmud replied to gordini's topic in Monster Trucks, 4x4, Wheelie Rigs and Crawlers
From what I've read the wheels from china are usually pretty weak....I do like the tires though. -
you know you could just try to throw up a giant magnet sheet on your wall........................... then just throw all your metal bits up there and it'll be considered "functional art".

It doesnt control the temp of the motor, just the ESC itself (thermal shutoff) and this motor is only a 13T motor and a TBLE02S with cooling fan which can't really be programmed to the degree as say a Tekin or some Hobbywing ones with the program card/usb connection etc. And this setup is more than fine for the gears inside this car which is basically the same design type in all Tamiyas.. M05,MF01X,TA01/2 and so on.

HAH!!!!!! It's slow....... and the tires on these things are so hard to balance it's **** near impossible to run these things fast without it starting to look like it's got the shakes

@Terz1 Not offended at all bud and honestly I'm fine with them all falling apart....except mine of course as it would drive up the value . I do know that the diff's and the outside counter gear mount piece were weak links, but not a huge deal (although finding parts for the diff was a nightmare). -
+1 on the middle one, mine is hanging in the closet of my office/man cave/workshop (the empty room I work in) except I don't have them labeled as I have remembered what goes were Im in them so much. makes life easier as I had about 3-4 smaller totes floating around and would have to dig them up when something was needed.... now its all in one place and out of the way!

Nice, never had one as a buggy, but they are pretty awesome cars..... so awesome in fact that many of their parts/design are used still today.... examples are MF01X, GF01, WR02 I'm always on the lookout for a nice TL01LA especially since I just missed out on one Here's the current state of my TL01LARA (Long Arm Rally)

Yeah, once I pulled it out to replace the front wheel bearings, the truck was so clean and everything was so smooth.... kinda rekindled the joy of having it.... lil bit anyways. And I totally know what you mean about crappy listings, those are the ones I look out for.... especially the ones that the title or description is wrong... i remember long while back I bought what equated to 3 Rustlers......... for 75 dollars shipped. Guy wasnt happy that was all he got for it... but hey win some and you lose some. I did get a Manta Ray slider for 50 shipped too and it's in decent shape it'll be cleaned up and either driven or sold off again.... who knows. -
What I did........... in a round about way, I have the vintage LB with the body still being reworked, and my wheeliemog shown below for running
