So ummmm that tl01b body.... whatcha gonna do with it???? I could use one on mine also so I agree with cutting rear end.... use a marker to draw out the cut line and have at it.
-
Welcome! So the two buggy choices you made are good, tough entry level buggies. The only difference would be the bodies as they’re both based off the tt02b platform (I’m assuming you mean plasma edge II as the 1st one has been discontinued). So the problem with RC’s is that once built, you won’t leave it alone and want to start adding mods... in which I would suggest you bypass the two cars you posted and by the tt02b-ms, same chassis but it comes with a lot of mods saving you some loot in the process... well sorta as you’d need to buy tires and an esc if I remember correctly. You could go vintage and find a tl01b and run the ******* outta it as they’re really tough... and parts are still available.
-
They’re the best replicas available, but as stated before hit or miss. I had to have him resend me a set of super hornet decals due to the overlapping and had a set of monster beetle decals that were pretty bad all around and I have a WW decal set that doesn’t look as good as the last set I bought. I still order from them though as there has been more good than bad for me.

I’m pretty sure I have one of these

Got this in from fellow TCer @Saito2 couldnt pass this up! BTW.... how does Cinnamon Pebbles taste??

here goes....... Desk

Look up MF01x.... there are plenty abound. As for me.... I was going to post pics of my completed work bench/desk but ummmm Photo****et went through with their stupid plan. I now need to find a new place to host my pics for embedding.... suggestions?

the suspension arms and what not is shared with a lot of Tamiya cars and the TL01 is a shaft driven vehicle.... so based on your thoughts, the WR02, WT01, GF01 WR01 are all related to the TL01.... The only car that would really be considered related to the TL01 would be the MF01X
-
Not remotely related to the tl01 they just like to reuse parts across several kits. But the wider arms would work but it would look dumb imo should just find a tl01ra arm set (which I’ve done) that way it handles better but the truck isn’t any wider.

Man!!!! I would totally buy it but am strapped atm!! Fancy any trades?

So Ive been getting a lot of kaka but have been failing to post..... most of it has been for my Slash and TLR SCTE 3.0 (bodies, tires/wheels/parts etc. I did manage to come across a pretty decent deal for a few vintage rc cars. 2 A stamp RC10s, another DF01 buggy this time in the form of a Blazing star (I swear I cant get away from those things) and a Kyosho turbo ultima with a nice lot of spares.... Ill spare you guys pics of everything here are the cars and the ESCs that came in the deal Oh... and for some reason TBG accidentally sent me a Kyosho Pro X body.... I havent ordered from them in a while either.... so it was certainly weird.

Getting close to finishing one of the new table tops.... the streaks will go away once it starts to settle. Also picked up a deal with some vintage RC stuff and so I tested and cleaned up these ESCs... ALL WORK!
-
Nah, Poly is fully hardened... right now the plan is to put my charger and soldering station in that corner and of course whatever overflow from the work side 3D printer would be nice.... maybe in the future
-
Been busy.... kinda non RCish per say but I was trying to assemble a new desk from a couple smaller desks my mom gave me. So this is before... Clean Normally The idea... Work to fill in the gap (being poly'd - solid mahogany planks) Perfect fit And now done for the most part (still needs more organization bits) Now since I like real wood vs cheap laminate kaka I will start polying the two pieces tomorrow to replace the cheap laminated kaka that my stuff is sitting on. Would be nice to be done by Xmas

Yes basically gsolder the banana plugs to a Fred set of wires on one end and deans on the other to plug into the deans on your esc. I do this cause I have multiple type batteries so I’m not stuck running one type of batt.
-
One way, or you can make your own batt wire leads by buying the plugs, some wire and a deans plug.
