  1. Finished rebuilding a tlr22 that was a spare slider in a lot I picked up had to invest a total of 18$ in it to get it finished. Looks good but it’s being sold off. Next is to dismantle 2 df03s to make one to sell and one to shelf.... oh and made what I thought was a crazy offer on an OOB set of shocks and won them (set of 54028 for a 3rd of retail price)

I have an original Mini Cooper body which has been trimmed ready for painting & also a spare decal sheet for the Monte Carlo version.

May have the chrome & white plastic bits for the body somewhere.

Omg!! Pm me for price and details.

Nvm pm sent to you :)

  3. OK... So I have a lot of odd and ends that I am needing for some vintage and more current builds. Right now Ill list all I can remember off the top of my head and will then list more. I know it will cost more to ship from overseas and I'm ok with that. I'd prefer new if possible but in mint shape is good too :)

    Here's the list

-F103GT front uprights (The one that hold the bearings)

    -Wild Willy fog lights

-Vintage Wild Willy Roll Bar (long shot but figured I'd list it)

-Madcap front tires (someone gave me a link to some before but I had no cash at the time)

-Madcap D parts (shock tower tree)

-Tamiya WR02 aluminum wheelie wheel in Black (Red if Black is impossible)

    - Tamiya original mini cooper body and decals (another long shot I know)

Again, this is what I can think of at the moment but I know there is a bit more items I will need.

Let me know what you have!

    Thanks

Manta Ray was my 1st proper RC car, so glad to see it back (Missed the original Re-Re) if only to pick up some bodies / decals for a reasonable price again.

Yeah the cool thing about these is they’ll be identical to the original as they had long stopped using real product names ie “bright lights” lol

"I love you 7 cars & 7 trucks". I would hang that on the wall next to my cars/trucks. Please don't take it down. :)

Also, I think our shelves are near identical. Three brown stained 1x12's on a grey wall. I even think I have the exact same shelf brackets. I should get a pic for comparison.

Heh, it’s not coming down. It’s something I would say to my mom when I was little and it’s passed on to my kids who painted this for me for Father’s Day. Lol the shelves were pine wood I stained and poly’d myself the brackets were the nicest cheap ones I could find at Home Depot. As for the room color, it was my youngest nursery room but it was adjacent to the garage and my Jeep is loud (so was the garage door opener)  so we moved her into the middle room which was my office..... like musical office

  6. @Kingfisher as promised.

Tehcnically last night... well all day yesterday. Got the room 95% completed for my Mother's arrival. My "office" is now moved into my daughters play room which was basically our dinning room but since our kitchen is pretty huge we just had our table in there. My daughter and wife like that in here now, the daughter says "Sharing is caring", and I keep finding some of her toys in my shelves.... and my wife likes it more now that Im more "present" vs being holed away in the spare room. It's not bad, and Im sure it's only temporary as my mom cant sit still for too long before moving on.

Office nearly cleaned out, she said the racks and lamp can stay along with the 3 shelves worth of cars.

So here's how the office looks now. (The Dyna Storm and Madcap will be sold as soon as they're done)

    And here's my new office!

To put the space in perspective (hence my daughter calls it the "play room office")

The metal rack next to my desk is now the limited space I have for cars in queue to be worked on.... once I clear this off

On another note I'm close to getting the GF01 Yota I got from @Saito2 close to how I want it. (Anyone have a set of those RED Yeahracing dampers????)

Oh and here's my condensed Display of cars.... A lot of them got boxed up and moved into a closet

Just sharing some info for my fellow US based members.

Whenever I sell items the biggest challenge I have is finding good, suitable shipping boxes. I hate receiving items in poor packaging and won’t ship until I’m happy that what I send will arrive in the condition I sold it in. Worst case, I have to buy them and pay extortionate prices ($15+) at UPS store or similar. I just bought a heavy duty 16x12x12 box from Home Depot for $1.28. It’s bombproof.

If you need to ship built cars then these cheap boxes are perfect.

AWESOME! I have run out of spare boxes so Ill be going out to pick some up!

@iluvmud Why are you selling everything? Getting out of the hobby, or just reducing the excess?

Look in what have you done today, I’ll be posting what’s been going on. In short a temporary reduction in my collection and selling my newer cars vs vintage makes more sense as they’re easier to replace

  9. Hey guys I’ve listed my lunchbox konghead, my sonic fighter, a Amiya qd Jeep Wrangler, a NOS Madcap bodyset a NOS pink acto power motor and a few other bits. Will keep adding things to the list as I sort through all my stuff.

I have them listed on Thebay as always so you can try to score them on the cheap.

I am willing to ship overseas on your dime though.

This should get you to all my listings https://ebay.com/usr/rctorres2k2

    thanks
