  1. Thanks Tipsy, this explains about the shorter runtime (still a good 30 mins with the 2200 packs). Will experiment a little more with different gearings to see what happens...
  2. I've got one Rising Storm build from the kit... + Carson suspension and ball bearings Everything else stock. Since I have two children [}] I also bought a 2nd hand Rising Storm XB. Everything stock. The motor of that one was worn, so I changed it with a Graupner Speed 600 an a 18T (instead of 19T) sprocket. Will change bearings in the near future, Carson suspension is very good but a bit on the expensive side (so I use the CVA's from the other one)... The questions: First buggy runs fine, but is not exactly punchy so I guess a 540 sport tuned would be a nice option. Leave gearing the same??? 2nd one is very agressive and a little faster than the first one, I like to drive this one best... But battery life is 30% less... Can't imagine that only the plastic bearings are responible for that?! I only started playing with these beauties a few weeks ago so I don't have any experience. Hop-up suggestions would be nice... Ah yes, at the moment I'm using 2 Nosram 2200 packs an 1 Sanyo 2000Race... RC3300 saddle pack is on it's way[] Thanks for your suggestions!
