  1. Yup, blue Minilites.... I win the Internet
  2. L&L already do Andrews, Rothmans, Cossack and Shell Oils / Vatanen.... I want to see the Ford Australia version, as run by Greg Carr, and even Ari Vatanen.... But then, I'm biased.... Alex
  3. Hey mate, did you see the Mk2 Escorts being sold currently by L&L Models? They have a great range of different vehicles.... not as good as making your own, but easier I bet! Alex
  4. This is what I'm expecting, based on the rumours I've seen online...
  5. I could see this having rally blocks on Minilite-style wheels, taken straight from the Minis.... maybe even painted blue, or blue-chrome. Alex
  6. So the obvious reply here is..... why the Mk.2 Escort, and not the (as I expected) Toyota Celica Group B or Porsche 959? For sure, pre-painted is a bit weird.... a mk.2 (rwd) on a 4wd platform is about normal for Tamiya these days..... As others have mentioned, this could just be a ploy to make me poor (more so) .... I already have a Skoda Fabia WRC MF-01X, and was just about to start sourcing a Celica Group B or 959 repro body for my other MF-01X chassis.... Fair to say I am very interested in this new release..... it got me posting on the forums after so many years, so it must be a good thing! Alex
  7. Glad to see you're still at it, mate... only taken me about a million years, but I'm just about finished my first of your shells.... Just the head and tail lights to do, plus some minor details.... and trim the rear body mounts. Still, progress! Look forward to your new releases... lol... quick vac-forming joke Alex
  8. You're way behind? I only just cut out the first of the sample shells you sent through to me years ago!!!! Trust me mate, you're doing better than some of us! This thread is probably the only one I'm still watching on TC, which is a fair indication of how in awe I am at your efforts so far...... so keep up the good work! Alex
  9. Not sure if it has been posted before as a bug, but I had this happen today: Not sure I have that many (or that much!) personalities..... Alex
  10. Interested to know this myself, if anyone feels like sharing.... have far too many sets of wide rear wheels! Alex
  11. Quick one for you Chris... when you delete an item from your showroom, you (well, I) get a 500 - Internal server error. There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed. This was the link: https://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_deletemodel.asp?id=127826 Alex
  12. Any news or updates on this? Would like to put some pictures up in my TCPhotos, to sell some stuff. Alex
  13. Chris, Long time no chat.... hope you're well. My TCPhotos starts here: http://www.tcphotos.com/default.asp?sid=154 Once I (attempt to) log in, I get here: http://www.tcphotos.com/updatesetup.asp Alex
  14. Hi guys, I still use TCPhotos for my image hosting, and plan to do so for as long as it will be still available! My pictures are still available offsite, however this morning when I try to log on (from my new laptop), I am getting 500 - Internal server error. There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed. I tried resetting my password on the main site, which has now been completed, but still the same error on TCPhotos. Any ideas, oh TC IT gods? Alex
  15. Great job Percymon..... they're a boggler of a job to paint, especially with all the different colours, the lack of instructions, and the included masks which seem to want you to paint the white first! Seems to fit nice on the chassis too.... may have to get rid of my TA05-MFour and get one instead! Alex
  16. Actually mate..... I will send you a picture today.... found you some more bits!!!! Alex
  17. There's plenty of Mini Mustang parts out there, if you know where to look Alex
  18. I've been thinking this as well..... but I still come back to see what's going on!!! Alex
  19. I think that's the case too, matey..... but there never was an M01L... only an M02L. M01/02 and M01M/02M should be that way, but only the 02 came in a LWB model. Alex
  20. Jason, I thought I had an M01 chassis set.... but it's actually an M02 A Parts / Chassis set.... Sorry mate. Hurry up Mr Postie!!! Once these arrive, I can sell some more!!! Alex
  21. It should when the parts arrive..... good old Mr Australia Post postman can be slow at times, but he will get there. Alex
