GMade BOM (Tiger) Scale Truck
TWINSET replied to TWINSET's topic in Monster Trucks, 4x4, Wheelie Rigs and Crawlers
Gotta love speculation The A pillar reminds me of the HPI Bronco shell, but GMade haven't used licensed bodies before Their tube frames are pretty tough - my R1 got a lot of abuse and the cage never broke once. Here's Gmade testing one: -

Long awaited apparently "The long-awaited black & red Hello everyone. It is Furuya in charge of RC development. Every Wednesday we will deliver the topic of RC car. Well, long-awaited black & red color appears in Javelin of the vintage series! Black seems like a new car that has never existed before. Red seems to be the most likely KYOSHO, or I feel calm for some reason. I do not need paint and I can dress up ... ... It's fun!"

Once you accept that most things don't want to kill you (even if it looks like they could), it becomes easier Any spider bigger than 20mm diameter wants to kill me, then feast on my organs, but the rest of them... -

Here's a couple of old macro shots (reversed 50mm lens) This is probably a Zebra Spider and the coin is about the size of a US dime (18mm diameter) Handheld (camera and spider) -

No, could be the imaginatively named 'Garden Spider' https://www.rspb.org.uk/birds-and-wildlife/wildlife-guides/other-garden-wildlife/insects-and-other-invertebrates/worms-slugs-spiders/garden-spider/ Was only a littl'un although right at the top of my tolerance (mildly arachnophobic ) -

Are you sold on Tamiya? MST's CFX or CMX chassis kits have been used with a BF shell For Tamiya only, CC01?

Will Tamiya CC01 Mud Block tires fit RC4WD/GMade 1.9 rim?
TWINSET replied to TDanny's topic in General discussions
Beadlock/crawler wheels aren't designed for Tamiya Mud Blocks specifically but for (what are generally) larger tyres - It's only the 1.9" diameter that makes them semi-suitable. Because of that, there's no guarantee they'll fit perfect, you really need to compare the width of the RC4WD bead spacing to the original wheel, not the carcass - it the tyres are 30mm at the sidewall, then a wide bead spacing might bulge the tyres out (as the bead is usually a few mm in from the sidewall) The GMade wheels, for instance, are 22mm wide to the inside face of the bead but no dimension's given for the outer width Whilst they 'fit' Tamiya tyres, they don't look too great and they're a pig to get the tyre seated right as the bead is 'under tension' by being stretched around the outer rim. It might be worth asking RC4WD themselves if the wheel/tyre combo will work From the Breaker page; Notes: Due to many different methods to design Tires and Wheels, we have no control over other manufacturers products. So we can only tell you that RC4WD Tires and Wheels work together. In some cases our Wheels and Tires will work with other brand Wheels and Tires, but we can not guarantee the outcome. The problem with fit tends to be the way the inside of the tyre is moulded - as you can see below, the GMade wheel has a cavity where the inner bead ends up, wheres the RC4WD wheel has a 'slot' in which only a certain thickness of rubber will fit. Because Tamiya tyres are designed to fit a touring car wheel, then most generic wheels will fit as they're designed to be as 'universal' as possible. RC4WD manufacture a huge range of tyres, so they don't have to be quite so accommodating with their compatibility -
Will Tamiya CC01 Mud Block tires fit RC4WD/GMade 1.9 rim?
TWINSET replied to TDanny's topic in General discussions
The Tamiya tyres will fit GMade wheels, but I wouldn't say they were a perfect fit - their wheel has an extra 'step' on the tyre bead edge so the outside of the wheel protrudes past the tyre's sidewall Most noticeable here; Those are stock CC01 tyres, I just chopped off every other lug from the side tread -

Pics tweaked on the new PC These were taken at The Fleece in Bristol - fantastic venue for lighting but they have some really annoying roof-support pillars right near the stage, so moving around isn't too easy. The band is Tragedy - a band specialising in rocked-up covers of Bee Gees songs (and a fair bit of disco/80s too) - Look 'em up on Youtube -
how to delete showroom photo?
TWINSET replied to JeffSpicoli's topic in Tamiyaclub Rules and Site Usage
If you're talking about the BRAT entry, don't delete it as you'll lose your comments. Easiest thing to do is either add another pic or move the last one up to replace the duff one then add a blank 1x1 pixel pic in the last slot If you want, I can do it Edit: Looks like you found a ideal solution https://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.asp?cid=132282&id=49898
