  1. OK No surprise on the price! 12 x 6 x 4 (1260's) 87p 12 x 8 x 3.5 (1280's) 87p Both steel shielded and readily available I asked how come they're all 87p, and the guy supplying them gets them in for around 72-87p each (depending on the bearing), and it's easier for him to sell them all to me at the same price. So now I know[]
  2. Joe I got a front post if u want it
  3. id="quote">id="quote">I'll find out for you Monday. 1280's too! Payment can be cheque, paypal or cash, but cash MUST be sent by a traceable method (in case it gets lost) If you need it, here's my ebay feedback; http://cgi2.ebay.co.uk/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dl...bitzfrom_uranus
  4. I got a couple of spare front body posts if you need one []
  5. Yep, they definitely aint pretty http://www.diyprojectiontv.tk/ found this site left as negative feedback (the guy obviously got stung and set up on his own) Feedback read "Complaint : I sent 3 emails, no response. SEARCH NET FOR "diyprojectiontv" before buying!!!!" pretty cool way of making sure the seller doesn't sell too many more!! I think I got more chance of a big tv than this monstrosity. Looks like a cool gadget for a bachelor though[]
  6. Has anyone here ever bought one of these? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...item=3001782016 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...&category=22639 I have just succumbed to the dark side (moving in with fiance) and she only got a diddy little telly. Apparently the one I got will 'take over the lounge' (probably storm the kitchen too!) So one of these may be an option. Anyone ever had one/known anyone with one?
  7. I haven't received feedback on every item (bought or sold) and have never bothered to chase it. I think the correct series of events should be seller leaves feedback first, as their part of the deal is completed first. (sold, paid for, despatched - job done) If you need the feedback, drop them a line requesting they post it. If the transaction went smoothly (according to what they requested in the auction) maybe leave them positive feedback, then send them a mail telling them that, and request they do the same.
  8. The super champ body is probably more closely based on real buggies cos it doesn't have a raido box; http://www.tamiyaclub.com/getuserimage.asp...002140031_4.jpg http://www.tamiyaclub.com/getuserimage.asp...002140031_3.jpg But I still don't like the rear end[] What's the site these pix came from?, I thought it was in my faves, but it's not
  9. Cos the rear end is held together with zip ties!!
  10. How about a countdown to one I can make it to - you lot just had to pick the weekend B4 I get married[]
  11. Cheers for the heads up Jim, no worries yet, gotta get a Maxx first[]
  12. I know it's not Tamiya, but I thought this was well cool http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...&category=19168
  13. Hey Rossco I found that nitro makes you smile anyway, must be the fumes![] I jus want something BIG
  14. OK, just exchanged contracts on the house[], and wanna buy a new toy to celebrate. I want a gas truck just for blatting around, needs reverse! Waddya reckon between Tamiya Terra Crusher T-Maxx Associated BFT Anything else? Has to be a 'proper' truck, not a buggy with 8 inch body posts!
  15. I stuck a 'parts' entry in my traderoom and said the bits were up for grabs. Once a bit is gone, I delete the entry, edit the pic and re-post it as some 'new' parts. http://www.tamiyaclub.com/trades_model.asp?cid=829&id=169 Maybe a forum area solely for parts that are spare? Provided the 'topic' contains the car part available, people would have no problem searching for it. The only problem with this format, is the same as always, in that the seller would have to delete the topic once the item has gone. Also, would there be any way to set up the area so that a topic can be posted, but not replied to? as this would maker deletion easier.
  16. Ok, I got two packs of 5015 Fuse sets and absolutely no use for them whatsoever - NE1 want them? F.O.C.? Please email me, then I can delete this topic once they're gone
  17. Many thanks for clearing it up, didn't have any Tamiya literature to hand and the pics on the Tamiya website are tiny! Have a good one[]
  18. Aha! Saw a scorcher nosecone the other day that appeared to be clear/translucent plastic, and it's by the same guy who was selling some chrome trees for $65 BIN Obviously they're knock-offs, but just lately everyone seems to be picking exactly the bits we all need! Full power to the copiers, as long as people are made aware of what they're bidding on.
  19. Too right, simensays is a new member, so he's got a shed load of new posts to wade through - should be done around Xmas[] Every time an old post is revisited, there's a chance a new answer is available.
  20. There are true bargains out there, but they're usually spelt wrong!
  21. Hi Miramar The text supporting the tower items is; Four Nylon Shock Bodies Two Long Metal Silver Springs Two Short Metal Silver Springs Four Nylon Shock Caps Four Metal Shock Shafts Four Shock Bushings One Bottle of Damper oil Intructions Does sound like four shocks?
  22. Just out of interest, how many of us bid their maximum straightaway then ignore the auction, or do you just try to outbid the current highest?
  23. mr_lister999 and ne1 else, regarding exhaust clips, try clips for pneumatic pipe - if you have any trouble, let me know the diameter of the rear cage, or mail me a sketch of the clip with rough measurements and I'll see what I can get hold of.
  24. Gets you like that! The highest bid will always win, sniped or not, but now auction sniper exists, you stand less chance of replying. I use auction sniper now for my only bid, as I've found you start a bidding war early and just bang the price up. I use A.S. so as not to give anyone a chance to re-bid, but I would prefer that ebay added a couple of minutes each time a last bid is entered, as it is in a normal auction.[V]
