Build 'Tips and Techniques' would probably be the easiest to find it in - it'll disappear in 'General' in hours, although either is appropriate https://www.tamiyaclub.com/forum/index.php?/forum/54-build-tips-and-techniques/

super champ steering set up on a sand scorcher parts

On a vintage Sand Scrocher body post, there's a 3mm grub screw at the bottom - this tightens against the RR body post -
Having to reload page every few mins

It's being looked into - I had no PC access at all yesterday, just a blank screen on three browsers and very patchy access on a phone -
Konghead Tires - After Market
TWINSET replied to BBB Spread's topic in Monster Trucks, 4x4, Wheelie Rigs and Crawlers
Not sure there's much in the way of alternatives, nothing from Tamiya springs to mind - The KH uses Lunchbox wheels so any Lunchbox-friendly tires will fit. There's a few on eBay, but they are supplied with wheels too, so not sure how the diameters etc compare; https://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Truck-Tires-for-TAMIYA-CW-01-Chassis-Lunch-Box-Midnight-Pumpkin-4pcs-/142032130703 There's a few Konghead tires advertised on eBay, but they're actually 2.2" inner diameter and I think KH wheels are only about 1.9" -
I keep toying with getting one but always think better of it - To get the best out of it I feel it needs the MFC, which then means a 4 channel radio - Once you've sorted that, you're a good £500 down even if you skip the radio. Then all you got is a £500 slow model that makes truck noises. They're great to build though, I enjoy that part. For that sort of money, I'd rather have a decent scaler truck or even something like a Bruiser/Mountain Rider

I've got an SN-01BM (your first link) and it's great for servo crimps
-
The 8x4 isn't a Tamiya model, it's just in the 'what about a trailer' pic
-
Not new news, but there's a half decent pic of it now 'Face' is a separate insert (to the right of body on sprue) in the helmet, so painting it should be an absolute doddle, and the eyes are stickers
-
There's never a guarantee of importing anything over about £15 from outside the EU without getting hit for fees - If a seller declares a very low value on the export docs then you might get away with it. I buy loads from RCMart and AsiaTees (Both HK) and I get hit for fees about 1 in 5
-
Yeah, on most of the pics I found, the Quattro is fitted with white wheels - even the original had a decent representation. The display model is a prototype though - mebbe the wheels weren't ready in time

No specs released yet, might be more tomorrow once the fair starts - TB mentioned 48 hours yesterday evening

https://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.asp?cid=125575&id=10614 And, just in case you wanna see a Super Hotshot... https://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.asp?cid=125431&id=10614 On those homepage pics, the member showing the model is linked to at the bottom right of the pic, click the username and you'll be taken to that entry's page It's a bit small to see if you're on a phone, but it's still clickable

It did - thread closed Sort this out between yourselves off the forum. If a seller's not responding fast enough, buy from someone else.

IIRC; There was always 2 colours of backing - the decals in the kit were on a different colour backing to the spares sheets
-
If you look at the 'Champion' sticker on the left of each sheet, you'll also see the red and black align in three ways - red at top, both level, black at top. This could be down to different print machines, different print plants etc. which could also go some way to explaining the backing paper colour and glues used.

Gumtree Scam
TWINSET replied to a topic in Off-Site sales plugs, tips & gossip - Including eBay, Gumtree etc.
Trading by post on Gumtree is incredibly dodgy - there's no feedback system and, if you pay by 'Friends', probably no chance of getting your money back either. The whole idea with Gumtree is you trade face-to-face Pretty sure sellers can delete all trace of the ad too, so there's not much stopping them relisting under a different name tomorrow. https://help.gumtree.com/s/article/What-to-Do-If-I-ve-Been-Scammed https://help.gumtree.com/s/article/PayPal-Scams Not for Gumtree there isn't; https://www.tamiyaclub.com/forum/index.php?/topic/76433-gumtree-dodgy-traders/ -
Didn't the 2nd 'Dancing Rider' release have a similar figure? Found it - chin guard and peak look detachable
-
Doesn't look like the eBay body is a copy of the Tamiya one - check the boxy bit (intake?) near the wing mounts - far bigger on the fake
-
The Hornet, Grasshopper and Lunchbox all use the same part number rear shaft (3555054) - haven't checked any others;
