That'll get the flag wavers going! I found with rally cars, the easiest way to get a cheap one was go for an old body, I got an 'Orange' Subaru TBO1 for £30 less than a blue one, just cos they couldn't shift the orange ones. Dunno about the WRC02 chassis, but it might be worth a dig? The way I trash lexan, it doesn't really matter what comes with it, it'll be replaced soon enough[]

Yep, I think the bod sux too. What's the fascination with blue and yellow - did they get a bulk delivery, or does it guarantee 'off road capability'? Seems they're going the cheap route with the shells now- can't see if it's a pre-paint but I hope to god it isn't! The only thing it does have going for it is that the battery isn't visible like the champ, but otherwise 'naff' springs to mind[V] Wonder if it has a sound chip to complement the fake exhausts?

Welcome to the forum! I've imported a couple of kits, and the other thing you'll have to factor in is import duty. Someone like Tower Hobbies WILL declare the true value of goods, so that's what you'll pay duty on, private sellers can be asked to put a lower price on shipping documents, but this'll affect the insurance payment if goods are lost/damaged. I got a Clodbuster from Japan, quoted at $150 (U.S.) and paid £17 duty. A local tax office can give you the info, so you can prepare for the worst.

I only backseat drive other people's cars - Go on, aim for the ramp, bit faster, oops, now that was silly[]

13 - Strange, from over here it looks like it should go under that bench no problem - where did the roof land?[]

This happened to a mate of mine, he got outbid, so looked elsewhere, the high bidder withdrew, leaving him high, but when he tried explaining this to the seller, he got reported to ebay and slated as a non-payer. There are ways ebay supply so you can see who's bidding on what, and it makes very good reading if you find the 'right' bidder. I think it was mentioned here before, a guy whose ebay ID was 2 letters and 2 numbers used a similarily structured second ID to jack his prices up.

In that case, I'll take a "Unfortunately I had to wash my hair that day" one (XFB size) - any chance of sending an iron too? - I don't get married 'til next April[] -
I was toying with the idea of buying a buggy or summat for 'Clumber II - Revenge of the South' so had a quick look round on the net - UK stores have nothing in comparison to U.S. stores! We're good for 38 different Subarus and an earth mover, but them over there have; Chevy S10's Ford F-150's Stadium Blitzers Pumpkins[] Dyna Storm's Blitzer Beetles At this rate, it's import or Wild Dagger, cos I want to build it too!

How about a few with a Sonic Fighter on the front, and 'I COULDN'T MAKE IT' on the back?[] -
Stick them in the dishwasher Don't!!!!! only joking Toothbrush and mild soap is best bet. Pressure washing should be avoided, this'll just force water into the bearings and gearboxes. And yep, you're gonna get rust, all the lovely black screws, black dogbones and any other steel not plated. Best option is clean crud off, then wipe over any suspect parts with a rag soaked in WD40, and spray it onto any parts where accuracy isn't an issue[]

All they ask, for a uk account is Bank Area Account type Sort code - 6 digits Account Number - 8 digits The sort code is like a branch number, specific to that branch of the bank (ie the one in Oxford) Once that's in, the account is added, all done.

id="quote">id="quote">Just my Bank name, and account number, but it seems it only covers UK and US accounts at the minute!

Cheers Bibbo I always liked these, I think it's a parental influence thing[] My dad is always saying he wants one too! Dive wise, the Red Sea is cool, nice and warm (before, during and after) but if you're there for a long time, seeing hundreds of brightly colored fish EVERY day can get a bit boring - If you ever go, go on a wreck themed dive as opposed to sightseeing. I've had some really good dives in Weymouth (south England) and never get bored there. Chesil Beach is an excellent spot, it's a reinforced causeway, and becuase it's all rock (not much sand) visibilty can be amazingly good. I mainly take pictures and video whilst diving, so as long as there's something (new) to look at, I'm happy.[]

Yep, I got it to work too (England), takes 4-5 days to show in your bank though (still faster than billpoint)
