I don't think anyone would take offence, £29 for some racing buggy parts is a bargain at the moment.
Wish I'd seen them [V]

Bibbo
I got a full set (2 front 2 back) from club member JHELLMAN (Finland) for around 70 euro - His local store still had some in stock
He may be worth a try?

Gotta agree, bought off him a coupla times - post office even lost my cheque once, and he didn't even chase it, I asked him if he posted the bits, he replied - where's the cheque?
Worth sticking in 'Faves' on ebay

Looks similar to my Landjump

One of the kyosho boys should be able to confirm - Good luck on getting parts if it is[V] Mine still looks as it did when I took the pix!
Ripmax have a few bits in stock, but nothing stunning

Strange that, I feel great [

I know it's not RC, but it is ebay;

If this wasn't the 'Big D', would you buy from someone who withheld feedback from public scrutiny?
Especially when nearly 3% of their customers are dissatisfied!

I got a Scorcher when they first came out, I think it was around £90
-
If it bursts into flames or explodes, I WILL find you [
]Actually, could be kinda cool!
Will update in a week
Cheers muchly

and here's another one he had!

Ok, it's been a long fortnight!

There were 2 up at the same time, but this guy was a low feedback seller and there was only me and 1 other guy bidding.
The other one, sold by 'showmethebids' went for $290
Just to add to my 'am I demented' paranoia, I've misplaced a whole RR chassis - did I sell it to anyone? (not the blue one though)

Apologies for OT
I've been in the chat a few times, and don't have the decency to say hello, but this is mainly because I was seeing what the chat was about before throwing in a greeting and getting a dozen 'Hi's' before getting back to the chat. If I have nothing to offer, it doesn't seem right to interrupt just to make myself noticed.
I do hang around if there's something that interests me though.
It is certainly a good way to get instant reaction to something, and have found out some good info from it.

Cheaper than mine was, and I thought that was a bargain

Just saved yours and it was 979k and mine was 295k
I tried to get photo quality like yours, but it was running into 3mb!
I think the fade/switch files will be smaller than morphs, although DJtheo's is only 118k and a **** site clearer than mine[

I got a 56k connection, and after 4 minutes, it's still not merging (right click does not show 'save as' yet)
TamiyaNewbie;
I used Microsoft Gif Animator for part of it, and Winmorph V2.01 for the other part.
Both were freeware

Show off[

No worries geezer - yours is closer to being finished than mine's gonna be for a loooooong while yet!

I've never knowingly heard the D.C's let alone seen them, but will look into it shortly...
That's 2 types of music that should be banned - Country AND Western[
]That Emily's not too shabby!

id="left">I got the details off DJTheo, as far as I can remember, you take two .jpgs, convert them into .gifs, then 'morph' them, save that as a .avi, then convert that into an animated .gif
I'm off home now, I'll have a dig round and try to find the progs I used, as the only straightforward GIF Morphing software I could find on the web was $40

Hey Jim
The 'white' seems to be a coating which is now responding to attack, but the exterior colour (color) is permanent.
May bombard it with chemicals - got nothing to lose now[

I tried it once, but Shania Twain was on TV - Chris understood[
]Trouble is I'm not one of these that can watch TV and type at the same time!

If you're referring to this;
"It might be a bit of a strong thing to say, but,i feel that people having attitudes like the creater of this body must have, are part of the reason someone would do the attacks in the first place.Or am I getting a little miss-placed in my thinking?"
Yep I saw it[V]
I don't think anyone who's gonna put 5 or 6 hours (or more) of work into a plastic model is contemplating the above while doing it!

!]Criticism is a fact of life - it exists, I accept that.
I couldn't really care less if someone criticised anything I do, and God knows the ammunition's out there[
]By putting something out to the public, anyone is inviting comment, we posted our comments on this forum.
I also posted that one of my comments was wrong (the donation part).
I expect some of this is being commented on now, I can live with that, but I'm not going to worry about it.

Noone could condemn you for trying to help, it's just that when the original topic was raised - and several replies were posted, it didn't look like you were.
This forum is, amongst other things, for airing views and opinions, which several of us did.
Opinions will always upset someone, this time we got you. Unintentionally, but you nonetheless.
