Couple of months ago, decided to strip some paint off a receiver box
I just took it out the brake fluid....

The inside is white - won't scrub off, the outside is about the same colour as a spangle, except where there was no paint - that went white too

2 weeks ago, sat staring at 2 noseless scorchers, I decided enough was enough.
Couldn't get indicator chromes, hadn't seen any on the bay.
Volksrod got one cone swapped for a MB one, sold the other on ebay, as I had a spare MB cone here.
All peachy, £50 up, and 2 scorchers without dirty great holes where indicators should be.
Then this...............

Imho before the point of no-return... suggest you say "My Dear, my twenty-eight old RC cars are staying put where they are in the bedroom, thank you very much"They can stay where they are, no problem - but it means paying 2 mortgages!
Remote control lights are cool, I got 'em in every room and it makes life so much easier - you can turn the kitchen light on before you're anywhere near it, or off if you're sat comfy then remember it's on.
A Philips Pronto TV RC is a must have too!

Box is torn - NIB'ers are wierd about things like that[
]Either that, or there's a bunch of snipers on a grassy knoll somwhere.

Sjoerd, you got soooooooooooo much to learn - you just gotta keep them happy.
Take me for instance, in 5 months I get married, I done everything right, and I get to keep all my stuff.
In storage, 12 miles away.
My Spawn figures are not ornaments, they're toys.
The 2 foot square ceramic frog I have, on a beanbag in my living room, can go in the garden.
Her neighbours will look after my widescreen TV for me.
The sofa I slept on for 6 months 'til I got a TV in my bedroom can have new covers made for it if WE decide to keep it, because it looks too 'laddish' - WTH does that mean?
WE don't really need remote control lights.
Even after all this, I'm gonna keep her - she cooks good and has put up with me for the last four years!
The benefits far outweigh the disadvantages.
And if she ever reads this, my computer had a virus, or was stolen, then returned.[

I got some decent results by sharply tapping the part with a screwdriver handle, most of the time the glue cracks under shock.
It really depends how much glue was used.
Old model cement used to slightly melt both surfaces (welding) so they become one piece, so you're usually gonna end up with slight defects.
Superglue/CA tends to break better as it doesn't have good shear strength (sliding resistance) so smacking it from the side, if possible, is better.

Perhaps he just wants to rid the world of RC.
Really can't see the point in false bidding - doesn't achieve anything, and it's anonymous so noone would know who you were if you were trying to prove a point.
I been lucky on all my auctions so far, but I 'spect it'll happen one day......

No worries, kept me busy trying to find an Afrikaans translator on the net - couldn't find one though![8D]

Should be with you by weekend easy.

Not pretty, but not damaged - there's a few too many holes in it - needs fillering.
It is just the body though, no nose, lights etc.
Email me your postal, and I'll send it tomorrow if you want it.

Seeing as 'you're after me' here I am.
I believe in the original post I aired my opinions both before and after your donation statement
Before; I think it was along the lines of the stars looked stuck on, wasn't impressed by the paintjob, poor taste in auction, a year is acceptable to cash in - If I missed any thing out, let me know
After; 'He's donating the money to charity' but still don't like the paint job.
These are my opinions - Nothing I can do about that. I have looked at your other work before this all kicked off - Hummer bods with Taz and Marvin on and liked them (sorry for not posting that!)
Don't know what to say really - they're my opinions, and I stand by them.
