The best part about this hobby for me is when you feel that spark, that twinge of exitment, and it only happens couple of times ayear for me really these days, and I've just had one now. I'm going to mount a Brat body on my runner Pajero XC chassis that needs rebuilding at the moment, and I have been pondering what body to put on it and this is anideal solution,I am over the moon !, can't wait to get it finished. Will update once done. oh and by the way, anyone else done this before ? got any hints or tips ? Cheers Ron look here for first shots ;- http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.a...id=17864&id=254

Just found this webpage and I am well impressed and jealous, I am on the lookout for one of these babys now. Does anyone know where you can pick these up in the North UK, preferably Trade ? for more info look here ;- http://chiron.valdosta.edu/jbpascar/subaru/bratpage.htm My favourite thing is the rear seats, I would sit in em ! has anyone on here got a Brat ?
-
is it boxed ?

Im thinking there was a trade involving a certain front bumper, the kit and a certain amount of cash or another kit ? Having a very rare part is always a great bargaining tool when trying find an expensive kit.

are they rubber sealed ?

Ive been after the Kyosho one for a while, but havent really been looking lately. Would love to have one of these babys to run. I remember Jason sold one on eBay last year but is missed the end of the auction.

its a re-badged Kyosho Triumph with a truck body on. Probably better Quality than a Kyosho Triumph

This must be the best Grasshopper in the world, I would love to make one but it looks quite complex, could take a while. for more info go here ;- http://www.tam.ne.jp/nic/grh/grhnew.html

sorry yeah thats me just reading the last few replies, I have ;- 40.955 40.825 40.775 40.715 40.785 40.665 40.675 40.695 and all of the 27 Mhz solids inc. black, but I don't bother with splits as they are very dodgy and you are best just reversing bands so you can have 12/14 car races rather than using splits.

is anyone using 40FM gear ? I have 40FM in all my cars really, and quite a few crystals so it shouldn't be a problem clashing.

That advert rules, I used to have one on the wall, it sums up 80's RC for me totally, the finishing touch is the lady in the Bikini. -

quote: Originally posted by wriggleandgiggle I havent seen the site, but i do know that if the 'right click' feature is disabled in IE by code in the page itself you can just save the whole page and then take the images that way. I'm not sure how you would go about getting the images taken down on the other site as if the images are scans of Tamiya boxes then the copyright issues could get ugly! id="quote">id="quote"> If you have IE6 it lets you save pics by mousing over them anyways, right click disabled or not.

Looks worth it to me. It's limited edition and signed with a plaque in a case. What more could you want ? I would pay that for it. -
