  1. I would say thats a good idea.
  2. quote:Originally posted by acprcwww.hlj.com Now in stock at £107 excluding shipping. Tam58306 is part number Anybody got one of these yet? Adam[?] id="quote">id="quote">er, no. It's not in stock yet. It has'nt been released yet.
  3. quote:Originally posted by WillyChangAnyone got one yet?? What's the dimensions on this thing btw... is there any chance I can put some 'narrow' arms on it and make it into a touring car?? [}] id="quote">id="quote">Release date is set for 28AUG03, still no ammendments as of yet, but I find it strange that there is no mention of it whatsoever on the Tamiya site as yet and it will be out in less than a week, even sooner if normal procedures apply, as the release date is usually a couple of days later than the day the stores in Japan actually get the kits. Still got my fingers crossed though, mine are on pre-order so they should ship as soon as release happens. It has been strange all year with this buggy though. As it was originally supposed to be released in Nuremburg, but got delayed due to reliabilty issues and the prototype was'nt even ready to show, so they tried to keep it underwraps, and now there has been no more than a release date pencilled in for the end of summer. Not exactly the grand buggy comeback I was Hoping for !
  4. quote:Originally posted by wldnasI hat the fact that you guys seem to think that this chassis is touring based!!! NONSENCE!! the MB-01 is totally NEW!! and a FIRST for Tamiya in that it's a mass produced BELT-DRIVE Buggy... only about 10 years late on the competition it will knock the pants off the current dross they are churning out with the pathetic hybrid TL-01 based Baja Champ and King cars that look dreadful and have no style or character what so ever. the only thing thats dodgy about the Neo shot (apart from the chunky platic shock towers) is that body which is obviously inspired by the Baja cars, Tamiya have got soo good at making beautifully detailed lexan bodies for all their touring, rally and super car models, why then must us buggy fans be fobbed off with basic featureless bodies that seem to have been vacuum-formed from some old pop bottles but then buggy designs as we know it has been stagnent for the last decade after the definitive form was devised and verything else has been a slavish clone to the Losi XXX and RC10 Bwhatevers of this world :S Tamiya have a great oppertunity to make an off road buggy with some style, performance and pedigree here after more than 10 years in the wilderness... lets hope they don't blow it and make it look like a Nikko toy like so many other Buggies they have produced over the yast number of years. needness to say I will be getting a Neo Shot regardless the moment it comes out as I think it is probably the most important car they have produced in YEARS despite it's obvious flaws id="quote">id="quote">I agree , lets hope the MB01R isn't to far away.
  5. quote:Originally posted by BiggusDitchusOk the eco 27 and 20 are NOT the same I have both the eco 27 cannot even run a rebuildable stock despite the factthey are 27 turn motors. (it says on packet, and I have blown 2 eco 27 running a rebuildable). It is something to do with the amps the rebuildables draw. id="quote">id="quote">hahaha , and you would know how exactly ? like I said before and wriggleandgiggle has just said, its about the gearing not the speedo, the same would have happended weather it was a 27 or 20 because they are the same
  6. Trade secret alert ! the eco 20 and 27 are the same speedo with a different sticker on. I know this for a FACT but cannot reveal my sources for obvious reasons. But I wouldnt use a 20 turn with either of them because they are crud. Just make sure you use the right gearing for the motors/cars if you do.
  7. what did you offer him ? I would have thought that was a fair price that the other guy offered
  8. cool, cant wait. Its been a great year for new releases.
  9. I have thought about this before, this place should be called tamiyarcclub.com and someone else should do a tamiyaclub site inclusive of all tamiya models.

Does anyone have any Pictures of these cars ?
  20. gotta agree with you there Chris, money means differnet things to different people, especially seeing as we are dealing on an international level here.
  21. quote:Originally posted by DJTheoStock possibly also better then the Neo Shot. id="quote">id="quote">lol , thats funny. This thing is complete rubbish in comparison to the MB01.
  22. quote:Originally posted by FKhanroJust an observation. I finally bought myself a Dyna Storm tonight. It is a re-release new built: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...gory=44022&rd=1 and I went on the TC site to see who else had one. I only found one member under the listing for the re-release. I then went under the kit number for the original and found that the majority of members are listing both versions of the car under the original kit number. I'm sure this is an insignificant item in the Tamiya Universe but I was wondering if club members might want to re-categorize thier cars or should we consider amalgamating both kit numbers? Can't wait to get my hands on this kit! I think I got a good deal at $150US for a new built. The ad said that the reserve was set at $150 but it had a buy it now at $150 so I grabbed it! Fazal id="quote">id="quote">That would be because Chris has only just updated the kit numbers !
