  1. Guy's got any pointers on painting tamiya hard bodies/ I mainly been painting lexan and only a few hard bodies only I would like to see what you guy's are doing with the hard bodies. THANKS
  2. I just recently put together both a fast attack and the holiday buggy....I say if you are going to want something to take off road and beat on a little bit the holiday buggy hads a modern chassis and is sutied better for off road and jumping... and the fast attack is just cool to ride around and not beat on to much.
  3. O well the red one is mine..... got my brother in law the blue one as a gift..... It does look sweet!!
  4. Another shot
  5. Both buggies what color you like?
  6. Thanks Guy's for the input i will leave it on as others seen it also and said they liked it to. Took it out for it's first ride the other day and it's a BLAST to run I have a 15 tooth pinion in it with the stock motor and it's a badword of alot faster than i thought it would be ... it's pretty quick! I am not even going to use the larger pinion gear as it's not needed its fast enough as is and i like my cars to be a little punchy feeling so the 15 will be better for that. It's neat the way it hobbles up and down over the bumps but i ordered a set of the frog rear oil dampers to see how they work on it...who knows i may like the way it drives in stock form better it has a fun factor feel and apeal about it!! Shen
  7. Hi guy's please help me out here do you think the decal i put on my FAV is to modern for it and makes it look funny/ what looks better with or without the sticker on the side? Thanks for the help.

  11. Is that sitting on a standard lunch box chassis or is it something different?
  12. Another shot top veiw.
  13. Man this kit was tedious to put together due to having to paint nearly every part but after all the hard work i am in awe this is one BEAUTY of a buggy!! I love this thing!! When i seen them on line i thought the buggy was small but it's actually a real big buggy wich makes it nice. I don't know if i want to put #'s or decales on this as it looks kind of cool just as a normal guy taking his buggy out for a ride. What do you guy's think? Will get better pic's out side if it's nice out tomorrow.
  14. ALMOST DONE!! See i CA glued a rubber O ring under the front suspension mount this way it acts like a damper like the rear has...don't know why they did not have a O ring in the front in the first place. Enjoy!
  15. more photos...what needs painting to make a normal buggy...shocks for the rear are painted blue forgot to show them..
  16. Hi thanks guy's i went with tamiya paints. I did not use any clear do i realy need it? also is it bad to put clear on after it sat for 24 hours the paint will the clear not etch into it and stick good...I know some paints are like that... Also my black is semi gloss so i don't think clear would be good on it... here is my FAV i painted everything today and i will be putting it together tomorrow. Comments welcome.
  17. Well she is all painted up WOW what a job!! now tomorrow i will start the build. Here are some shots of what you must paint to make it a normal colored buggy.... shock bodies are blue i forgot to show them. Enjoy and comments welcome.
  18. So far what i painted...this thing needs lots of stuff painted it's like a model!!
  19. I was speaking of the pactra paint that's made for lexan clear bodies that stuff should etch right into the yellow wheels and stick like glue! put on a few thin light coats.
  20. Yea but i changed my mind on the color now i am going orange!
  21. My fast attack is here!!! Looks like a easy kit to put together..... BUT not for me i am going to do a yellow and black version and boy theres alot of parts to paint!! This will take the most time and i have to paint it all even before i can start putting anything together!! Looks like i will be hitting the local shop up for some tamiya paints !!
  22. I think if you paint the wheels with the pactra rc paint silver or black and let it dry you won't have any problem at all with the paint coming off when you put the tires back on.
  23. Could paint the wheels black? I think my red version looks pretty sweet!!
