Hi they are HPI star wheels with 2.2 imex claw dogs..I got it this way but i would use Traxxas nitro stampede rear wheels they have less backspacing and would push the wheels out further.. I also have the XC 2.2 wheel adaptors that push the wheels out a half inch per side so the truck gets a total of 1 inch wider. Notice in the pic's look at our tires...[] Save those treads you cut off they sure make great side tread's for extra grabbing on rocks and sofourth!! Just clean the tires side wall with rubbing alchol and super glue them on the side walls of your tires!! [8D]PRETTY TRICK EH! I did this with the stock oil shocks that cam with the touareg. Left them exactly how they hook up to the rear and i unscrewed the brass ball where the shocks hooked up to the chassis. Now i used a RPM long ball cup drilled a 1/8 hole at the far end where it starts threding in the ball cup and also drilled a hole in the ball cup end and sanded 3/4 of the ball cup off to make it thinner and then i put the stock brass ball into it and then snapped the shock top back on.. Now i used a fine threaded screw and screwed the oposit side of the RPM ball cup where i drilled the 1/8th Inch hole in it back in the stock shock holder on the chassis. And now i can put 3 and about a half 7.2 battery packs under the rear tire while all 4 are down... A Nifty mod for the cost of RPM ball cup connectors!!

Hi i do have older sanyo 2000 cells and these new 3300 do seem longer. i did take off both caps on the 3300 venom pack and they still did not fit :-( Bummer The only thing i can do is slid the pack in the truck and use a big body clip and clip it through one of the outter holes where the plastic battery holder would go ..this works but the battery is shifted a more to one side.

Hi i purchased 2 different types of 3300 battery packs Venom and powerizers off E-bay and none of them fit in the XC chassis they are a bit to long so you can't use the clip to hold them in.. Are 3300 cells longer than 3000 cells? Doe's anyone know of a 3300 battery pack that will fit in the XC chassis? that is not to expensive? only running a 55 turn lathe motor don't need no special battery pack. THANKS

The seller and i worked things out :-) we both agreed that he would give me back $30.00 of my money so i can put it back into the truck to get it working properly. First of all three of my adult buddies looked at the truck knowing what I paid for it the first thing they said was I got taken it must have been a little kid saying he was an adult and this happened to one of them one time also... I do own the pajero also and the axle is even there is no reason for an axle to be on the truck crooked not in a square line tracking evenly with the front wheels. as for the pinion gears now I know you don't know nothing about RC's there are lots of different type pitch pinion gears most everyone into RC knows this?Pitches of pinions 32, 48, 64, just to name a few.... and you also say you did not know the screws where different because you bought it used then why in the photo you sent me the screws are not in on the gear cover at all this means you must have put the screws in yourself so you must have known they where all different sizes and types?? I could post some really nice close up pic's of it here since I am a photographer and everyone will clearly see what I am talking about...

I don't know what you are thinking the truck is in no way ready to run needing only radio and a ESC ... Like i said the trucks rearend is in crooked the links you made are not the same lenth also the gear on the motor is of a different pitch it dont even mesh with the plastic spure gear at all this is why the drivetrain is binded up. And the wheels on the thing don't work at all they have to be so loose they wobble and will come right off the car because if you tieghten the nuts on the wheels even by hand they bind up all the axles and make them hard to rotate.. If you can work with me on this it will be great.... Because i feel anyone who recieved this truck after reading the info in your post about it and paying $170.00 would also be steaming mad.

I got Ripped! I like the truck and all but i feel he should give me some money off of it because it is not worth the $166.00 i paid for it...It needs top much work and is not what he told me it was. First off the drive train is jammed and the truck don't even roll! asked him if the tires rub he told me no he don't think so..LOL he don't think so they rub everything!! The rear axle is put on crooked!! he used all different types of screws to hold it together! And i just found out he had the wrong type pinion gear on the motor also! I am hoping he will work somthing out with me on this maybe to get some money back through him so i can fix it up Hope i don't have to go through paypal because this thing is no why worth what i paid for it that's for sure!!
