  1. Aeromax should be fine with the MFU. I had the knight hauler with MFU and there is LOADS of wiring. Theres quite alot of room in the aeromax. You have to sacrifice the interior dashboard and seats for the mfu though.
  2. Maybe or the Ranger. I was wondering about the scorcher. Didnt they alter the moulds for the body when they made the monster beetle? I mean the wings are slightly more cut down on the MB.
  3. Blimey its been a while since i posted here, i nearly forgot what to do! Anyway i was wondering if anyone in the uK has been stung on customs lately. I was speaking to the parcelforce delivery guy recently and he was saying that they are no longer taking payment at the door, but a letter will be sent by customs instead? Anyone else heard this? Andrew
  4. People who know me will think that its because of all of the tanks ive had, but its actually from the film Sleepy Hollow. Johnny Depp was riding a horse. His name was.....Gunpowder. The 17 is my birthday.
  5. If you look at the Blazer in Mooseys showroom youll see it in box art.It was painted by me I used Tamiya yellow for the main part.Tamiya white for the helmet.I then mixed Tamiya blue with a little white for the trim. A
  6. Looking for motor mount, idler wheels and top hatches. Please email me if you can help Thanks
  7. Try emailing me at normandog17@yahoo.co.uk
  8. Hi Jakes I built the entire chassis, minus the tyres and sprayed it Nato green aerosol from Tamiya.I sprayed the side baskets and gun barrel in red oxide primer. Then i built the entire body and masked all of the clear parts. Then i painted that using Nato green spray can,but i used my trusty airbrush for the camo .I followed the pattern from the paint direction sheet very carefully. You wont really be able to use aerosols for the camo, much better to use a brush or airbrush. You could try masking the camouflage but it will take a while, then you could use aerosols. I also left the small smoke discharger caps and chains off until last Hope this helps
  9. Looking for the original 2ch Leopard. If you have one for sale please let me know. Thanks
  10. Ive only run mine once outside at the mo (see movies) But it was on ground with stones. Not the best surface as it scratches the underside and stones can get caught in the tracks.I would say the best place to run them is woodland type places wheres theres compacted dirt.Im going to try and find an old BMX track at High Beach that i used to use in the woods, but its probably gone. Dont forget that they are Scale models that work, theyre fragile so dont go too mad.[}]
  11. finally finished. Pics here http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.a...id=32232&id=183
  12. I agree those small chains are a pain.I used a hairdryer on those Fibre optics this time, that worked better as i snapped some on the previous one i made. I would go through the gear bag and mark up the gears according to the parts diagram.First time i put a wrong gear in (easily done) and this time i missed a gear altogether! Didnt realise until id put most of the tank together.Couldnt figure out why it wouldnt turn! [:I] Jusrt take your time with it Jakes and enjoy the painting (my favourite)
  13. Yes i thought of that too,it seems better than the standard plastic one. I have updated my showroom with more photos of my leopard for those interested A
  14. Hi Dave I have partially ballraced the wheels. What is the metal idler set? Ive not seen them,The only upgrade i would really consider is the metal front track adjuster. All of the other metalparts seem a little pointless really. Stellamodels have bearing sets. Andrew
  15. I have a soft spot for the Sherman. It was my first Full option tank. I agree as a model the pershing looks better, but as a runner with gadgets i dont think the Leopard can be beat
  16. Theres actually about 8 leopards on TC. Go to Neo's showroom. Then click on the view other leopards button.Theres more that arent listed under the right number Alot of people are not insane enough to pay the money for the Leopard though[8)]
  17. As you may know ive had em all! Without a doubt the Leopard is the best.If you want ww2 them probably the pershing or tiger.Ive written reviews on here about most of the tanks. Yes the gun barrel stabaliser only works with the A6. Theres movies here http://www.tamiya.com/english/products/560...opard/index.htm
  18. You shouldnt need to put different ones in.It has a power switch on the DMD unit that gives it more torque. I fitted the Gun barrel stabilizer unit today and it works quite well.
  19. Hi Just a question to the few Leopard owners. Has anyone tried the new Gun barrel stabalizer yet? Andrew
