I have a vauxhall vectra body shell with a spoiler for sale. It is sprayed black from the inside and fits on my TA02 chassis. It looks great but on a closer look the wheel arches have been amaturely cut (one minor crack on each front arch-2/3mm) and the holes look like they have been done with a hot nail rather than drilled, however it was done fairly neatly and could be easily fixed. The paint job is ok and there are no splits. This would make a great runner and I had planned on doing it up as a police cruiser. If anyone wants pictures I will email them to you. I am open to offers or trades. Let me know what you think, Shane.

Thanks for all the help guys, I really appreciate it. I have replaced the msc and it runs fine now, except when i steer left the car goes right and visa versa but i can sort that myself. The ESC sounds good, i'll have a look for one on ebay. Thanks for the help, Shane

Motor is fine, servo and speed controller move great, still no wheel movement

I have spent months searching ebay for a tamiya car that i can afford. I finally found a ta02 escort. It arrived a few days a go and I was extremely excited as it is my first tamiya car. I ran it for a few mins and it worked fine (very fast!), I ran it again and it got stuck in reverse, full speed. I turned off the car but it wouldn't stop, I had to disconnect the battery. After I reconnected it, i tried to run it with no body on to see what was happening, the speed controller moved when I pressed forward on my controller, but it stuck half way up and the car stopped. The next day i charged the battery and then tried to run the (now cleaned, was very dirty) car. The steering worked and the speed controller moved flawlessley, except no wheels turned. This has been a masive dissapointment to me after waiting so long, can anyone tell me what is wrong? Should I replace the speed controller or the servo, or both? PLEASE HELP, Shane

Thanks for the advice, it really helped and I finally found a member who just bolts things on and has fun. I've gotten really fed up with all the other members suggesting upgrades and fine tuning which costs a fortune, I just want to have fun! You were a great help, thanks.

Could I put a Revolver 550 Crawler motor into a standard TA02 chassis without making any modifications?
