  9. Hi fellow Tc members You might think this is a pointless topic, but this issue is really getting me down. I spend alot of time looking for parts Im missing for my collection of the first 60 cars. I like being able to find parts in the trading room to help these models on their way. I know how frustrating it is when you can't find a part you really need. I therefore make a concerted effort to help other Tc members out with their wants and needs. If I see a trade for a part wanted I firstly check to see if I have the parts, which can be a task if you have 50 or so boxes to look in. While I have alot of my new parts databased. Most of my used bits are unfiled so to speak. Back to the point. In my quest to fill the wants of others to chalk up a favour or trade for sumthing useful to me, I find a large proportion of users fail to reply. This can be a bit dis heartening, either they've got the part allready or your too far away for them to contemplate a trade. For any reason a quick "Hey mate Im sweet, ta anyways" is alot more courtious than no reply at all. In a particular instance lately I had one member who supposely needed a part badly enough to relist it a second time to get to the top of the trades again. I had an idea I had the part he needed but couldn't be bothered looking for the previous reasons. On seeing the listing a second time I decided he must be desperate and decided to see if I could help. The part was small and it took me the best part of an hour to find it. Guess what?? This turkey never replied. After begging for the part, he decides not to return the email. I don't care that he doesn't want it, I just am spewing about the lack of integrity shown by the no reply. This is not the first time. The trades is still listed so how many others have wasted their time!!?? I agree their is alot of timewasters out there. granted. But I feel that members who list trades make a conscious effort to return emails sent to them by other members trying to help. Some members Ive talked to never use the trading room for that reason. Others would suggest to me I shouldn't bother either. maybe, but that is not helping anyone at all. Especially as this is a club that you can seek help from. I have had mostly great trades with the older tc members. Its great to be able to help sumone with a desperately needed piece to their puzzle, that makes me happy. Many members have gone as far as to mention me in their model captions as a sign of goodwill. The bottom line is... don't post trades if you ain't gonna reply. It just ruins the spirit of the club for those getting ignored. Its like putting your hand out with and offering and having it spat on. Just a wee bit of thought please.... Am I the only one with this gripe??? Does anyone else feel the same??? Regards Juan

  12. Dear Chris Firstly thanks heaps Chris for the dedication you have shown to this Club. To me this club is like heaven. I have only one wee suggestion. Am i missing sumthing or it it hard to track down members at will. I mean by that , when I get emails from members telling me to look at their showroom etc. How can I track down a member short of going through the latest showroom posts to find them. This is ok if they have loaded up a new cars or have have a trade for sale recently in the trade room. Other than that it can be quite a pain. It would be nice to have a member search to locate their showrooms quicker. Maybe I'm just missing it..... Superju
  13. Hi Guys While some tyres like the lancer and wheeler r hard to get demand would be far less as few members have these cars. I agree with most the other members that the following r very hard to get. Superchamphornet rears (one run and they shagged) Superchamp hornet fronts (never seem to get good ones) Scorcher paddles These tyres will get u a heap of sales. They also fit a few cars so collectors will want multiple sets. As for wild one fox rears they r still common as. Ranger tyres r allways good to get. Didn't realise u could still get them???? Is that true?? Superju
