I also had speed woes with my blackfoot extreme, so i shoved a 17t motor and a 7 cell battery in it (!) This gave more satisfying speeds, but has resulted in a lot of broken parts, including major chassis damage (expensive to repair [:'(]). imho the blackfoot extreme was never meant to go fast, it has pitifully small suspension travel and doesn't crash very well at high speeds. That said, putting a brushless motor in one would be a great laugh and i'd love to see a video []

hi all, i recently bought a Blackfoot extreme, i love the body and think it's far better than any cheap lexan body. But, it seems that because of the heavier body, the rear body mounts break quite easily and i was wondering whether there was any way to strengthen the rear body mounts at all? is it possible to buy stronger body mounts? thanks

yeah, i'm going to order a full ballrace set. hopefully 20 turns will be enough to satisfy me. thanks for the help
