What Kyosho cars look like the the Tamiya ones (or the other way around) So far i have seen a chassis that looks like the scorcher one and a holiday buggy thing. Don't know the kyosho names, sorry. Has anyone got pictures of the early Kyosho cars so u can have a look? Thanks.

double post chris? Are you having problems too? [] Hope the move goes SMOOTHLY. Best of luck -
I hate the fighter buggy, nasty... Then again i generally dislike all plastic chassis models (what i have seen so far anyway) Get what you pay for i suppose.

I think this is problem Chris has been getting with the site, its just too popular!!!! I don't know if he has moved to his new server yet, have you Chris? I have been getting that alot this evening as well so i am sure other people must be. How many people visit this site daily? What is the busiest trime of of the day? Thanks Chris.

WOW. A true work of Art. With the right lighting it could look the pride of any collection. (I am impressed anyway...)

Just to be contraversial, i like the chrome blitzer shell. I wanted one for my scorcher but i have never been able to buy the shell on its own. I am not going to pay about 150 pounds for a NIB chrome blitzer set just for the body. I hate the chassis of the blitzer and only like the shell! Just think it makes a change from the normal ones and one in the collection can't hurt. (Hope this does not make me too unpopular [] )

drives you mad when you bid and they end the auction early and cancel your bid. If thats the way things are going then i am going to have to keep emailing the seller of everything i want to buy asking them either to keep it running or putting in an outside bid myself. Imagine if everybody on Ebay did that. Oh well...

SS white lettering on the tires.

Just to make things more interesting the big companies of correction fluid have started to use foam instead of the brush. Smoother on paper but useless for the tyres. Just wondered if anybody else had found the sponge tips here in the UK. -
totally agree with you about that. The body is great on the rover. I bought one off Ebay as i liked the look of it but then saw the plastic chassis. Found out one gear was damaged and so i could not use it. Sold it again after a restore of the body. Made nearly 45% on it so at least it was not too bad an experience.

thats why people mounted the shocks upside down!!!!!!! I always wondered why, just thought people did not read the instructions. Learn something new every day. Thanks.

the only other tamiya shocks i have ever had were the current super low friction dampers. Very expensive but worked flawlessly. The best shocks i have ever used. Sad to say i sold them but i needed the money at the time, never mind. Thanks for the reply.

what are the differences in the superchamp chassis plate (the green bit) compared to a rough rider chassis compared to a sandscorcher chassis? Secondaly, what roughly were the prices for a new one when new. I have one that says 29.95 GBP on the label. Does that seem right to you? I think thats far too much as the entire kit was about 100 GBP (or so a mate said who bought one many years ago). If thats right i would have bought a new kit!

Every second hand scorcher i have bought has always had the shocks empty and when filled they leak like crazy. Is that the design (never had new ones to try as reference) or just because they have worn a little. They look good when stripped down with no visable sign of wear. I have a new set but i don't want to open them as i am collecting new parts at the moment. If anyone has ideas that would be great. Cheers guys.

i will have 5 copies of that mag chris []

Its not much money to gamble with anyway. Not like they wanted hundreds for it! [] Anyway, think of all the excitement you bought for you bucks, its got you interested and you will end up being like a kid at christmas when the box arrives! You can't put a price on that! O.k $42.13 if you want to be like that []
