the esc he was talking about is only £19.95! They are poor controls. The predacessor to this one "mtronims eco 2" was much better i feel. More punch and more breaks. Not waterproof though. Shame i connected a battery backwards to it as now it only goes forwards with no brake!

Sure do Twinset. If i remember rightly its that stuff thats crackles and snaps in your mouth isnt it? If so, nowadays its called FIZ WIZ. Comes in a red sachet and is strawberry flavour. There is also a purple blackcurrent one. It was a few years ago i got some. Was about 15p a pack. That stuff is strange! You can also get something called WONKA EXPLODER which is a chocolate bar with that stuff inside.

  3. I have always used sticks since i started about 6 years ago. I have a wheel one on my emaxx but dont think much of it to be honest. I think i will always use sticks. Unfortunately, you cant buy a decent (mid priced) stick controller here in the uk. You can either pay around £200-300 or £5-15! Still, the cheaps ones are alright and does the job.

Lets face it Twinset, if thats the worst thing you worry about today, your doing alright! [;)]

I always thought that because they are all called "smart"ies you can spell with them ie; being smart. Well, something like that anyway...

  5. Just an old add from a wanted web site. Cant even remember what it was called. It all depends on what his version of only run in means! Could be like some people descriptions where they say mint and its scratched and smashed up. Maybe i might be able to negotiate free postage into the deal, you never know. No idea what hop ups are installed in the frog though. Anyone know the normal (1st) mods done to it are? Ballbearings are always 1st then ???

I dont like buying stuff when its somebody you dont know who sends a mail from the blue saying "i have this for sale" Still, its not alot of money and there are more expensive cars out there to pretend you have. Worth the gamble i feel.

  6. Just got this mail:

quote:You were advertising for old Tamiya. I have a 4WD hotshot and a Frog with

modifications for sale. The hotshot has only been trial run and both have

full Tamiya wheel bearings etc. Complete with two transmitters and a RIKO

charger, again virtually new.£60.00 for the lot

I think that sounds good price, do you think that seems good? Never considered these cars before but for £60 (if they are alright, havent seen a picture yet!) i thought they would be good for the spring drive.
