  1. quote:Meanwhile the Sand Scorcher is driven like a million dollar Rolls Royce ("A bit of gravel in the way? Better swerve around it )

You must have to swerve early then, a good few yards before you get to that piece of gravel. Got to love the srb's though!

  2. quote:Stupid power would be brushless and as many battery cells as you can stuff in your chassis, like 10. I believe there is a UK company (modeltech or something) which makes a nice brushless set. Very expensive

Yup its modeltech. If you want to see it running just watch my touring car at snetterton! 15 minutes under full racing is possible whith a motor thats faster than a 12 turn Trinity d4 i had. Massive though is a downfall! Nowhere to put it in a modern chassis [:(]

  3. quote:Edit: Why is this in the 'For sale, Trades and wanted ads' actually?

A job for the admin here i think. They will move it to a thread where you will get more relavent replies.

Hmm, the POWER CHECK motor dyno looks handy too.

    Arrgh... also the Robitronics.

Thats the one willy, well done. I got a motor dyno from www.modeltech.co.uk. Fantastic little thing and about £82.99. Think its the cheapest dyno i have ever seen in the UK. Here it is:

Their stuff is great plus free postage as well on orders over £10. Thats where i got my brushless motor from as well.

  6. Wow, thanks guys, never knew there were so many issues to consider with nitro! Just goes to show that i'm a nitro virgin [:I] so to speak...

Well, it says use it in the manual and that wont invalidate their guarenmtee so thats what i will use. I do appreciate the advide though. Guess it will be a few years before i get it all worked out (or maybe a lifetime, you never know [;)] )

Another question is what is the life of nitro if kept in the original bottle once opened but kept tightly sealed. I know water ruins it over time but how long? Thanks guys.
