  1. Subaru, hmmmmm [?] backwards it's - you are a bus [] (u r a bus)
  2. all good stuff [] ...would it be possible to link up the break lights, so they shine when slowing down... & reversing light when heading backwards [?] and would this lot slow down the speed greatly? M
  3. Thanks James... Ma Mini is absolutely fantastic [8D] here's a wee picture taken on ma run home from work... http://www.mini2.com/gallery/personal/picture57081.html Photo's of the build will follow... anyone recommend a good R/C book or text, detailing technical info on servo's etc... and the basic stuff [?] What do most people here own/race..? M
  4. _Jimbobulon_ wrote 'nice match but unfortunately...' [^] Awwwww, shame [V] thought I was on a winner with those... will keep looking [8D] teh postman arrived this morning with large package, Mmmm-mmmmm I wonder what that might be [] *runs around screaming like a banshee-eeeee [] * Ma mini Mini What's peep's experience with buy R/C equipment of e-bay [?] M [8]
  5. Hi, tis all sounding good... Many thanks to sosidge for the legal warning on air/land radio issues [:I]... I shall look into Hitec controllers [] Have found these wheels; http://www.apexmodels.com/product-search.p...an=32&catid=216 JC021-W Fastrax JC 26MM ASCARI ZERO OFFSET WHEEL-WHITE (2) they look simlar to the 7-fin wheels but not too sure of what size or suitability... M.
  6. Thanks James... Yr idea for wing mirrors was what I was after... although how would I control the micro servo's? What set up would be needed considering that I don't like the aircraft type (4-way sticks) multi channel controllers! Would like just flick switches on top... The reverse light (in the bumper) is now flush with the body, so I will have to remove a small part of bumper and fill up the resulting gap and shape n' smooth... suggestions anyone... Wheels [] [8D] M
  7. Thanks for the reply... 15-17yrs ago I made kit models and associated displays, so not too bad at scrathbuilding all-be-it rough looking non-working models! Have experience in messing about with 70’s electronics – nixie tubes and the like… Also I did build a R/C spitfire with wooden frame & cotton/dope skin but it never took flight as I could not afford R/C equipment at the time with ma paper round monies... What’s scrap lexan [] also you mentioned Computer controlled R/C equipment, does this activate the additional (2+) channels via flick switchs on the controller... M
  8. Morning [] Was after advise on a few issues… I’m building a New Mini Cooper to match ma real car, kinda sad I know [] However the Tamiya kit seems to be the old model pre face lift [V] so I need to amend the shell (rear & front bumpers) how is this best achieved? All it needs is the rear bumper split to take the repositioned tail light... What tools and materials are required? Also I’m after a way to make the wing mirrors fold in and sunroof tilt open [8D] what type of controllers, servo’s etc. would I require Finally does anyone know wheels that closely match theses seven fin’d alloys? http://www.mini2.com/gallery/personal/picture57081.html Sorry if I didn’t explain to well [:I] but I’m sure that you could give advise [] I’ll post pictures of the build once it’s under way Thanks ye ole, M.
